Happy Friday you crazy peoples.
This weeks question is a little off topic but it involves why we are fans in light of May 25 being 40 years. Which Star Wars movie is the first one you saw, and which one do you like the best?

First Star Wars movie= Star Wars 'nough said.
Favorite was alway ROTJ because I LOVED the huge space battle at the end. Now, Rogue one is so nice for the same reason.
Happy Friday!
I'm celebrating early. I had a rough day at work, so I'm trying to forget. Anyways, I don't remember what I saw first honestly. I grew up on the other sci fi behemoth, so I think the OT became required viewing somewhere in middle school.
Edit- My favorite is Empire. Like, it's definitely top 3 of all time, constantly fighting with Wraith of Khan in that same field. Both movies are emotional, and have absolutely awesome soundtracks.
Edited by StasyI saw Star Wars (A New Hope) first. I have always enjoyed Empire because it was the first time I realized that there was a bigger world out there to be explored. I remember many winters pretending I was on Hoth. Ha ha.
Happy Friday!
First film was A New Hope. Please don't make me pick a favorite. I love them all! I think when I was younger I was really into Empire. I had many of the toys, and I though the AT-AT was really cool. Then came the prequels. Revenge of the Sith is the one I watch the most. These days I watch Rogue One. I won't pick a favorite for the new trilogy until all three films are done, but I did like The Force Awakens very much.
Happy Friday!
My first was Return of the Jedi. My first on-theatres was the 90s special edition New Hope.
A favorite is tricky...I would say Empire, Jedi, and Rogue One are all very close.
Happy Friday.
My first movie was Star Wars (before it was known as EpIV...). Favourite is... probably Rogue One.
Merry Friday-mas one and all!
Like others my first was Star Wars (again before it was known as 'A New Hope'). First in a cinema was '... Jedi' when it was released. Favourite still has to be 'Empire'. Even after all these years the scene between Han and Leia just before he goes in the Carbonite still gets me!

The first movie I ever saw in a theater was empire strikes back and it is also my favorite Star Wars film.
My first Star Wars.... Hmm, that's a tough one. I think my earliest memory was refusing to eat my dinner... but being sad because my mom made me sit at the table all night until I ate... and to make it worse, in the living room they were watching Star Wars on VHS (A New Hope). I remember peeking out and seeking C-3PO and R2-D2 on the TV and wishing so bad that I was allowed to watch.
But in terms of full movie, my first vivid memory is watching ROTJ in like 2nd grade. Not sure which film was technically my 1st but I have the most memories of that. Plus I was an Ewok for Halloween in like 1985 I think. Better memories of Star Wars didn't emerge until I was a teenager and would spend weekends binging them all on VHS after the THX release.
May 25, 1977. That day changed everything.
I immediately stopped wanting to be a doctor and wanted to work in tech. And here I am. ![]()
Happy Friday.
I saw Star Wars first, long before it became a new hope. I have seen Empire more than any other film in my life, but the Fan repaired version Episode IV Revisited, has come to be my current favorite. Though that may change after I see his Episode V Revisited.
My first Star Wars movie was Empire, it's also my favorite and clearly indisputably the best Star Wars of all time. Anyone else's opinion is just plain wrong and everyone knows it
. But Rogue One was pretty **** good too.
