GR-75

By Stovrose38, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

What's your favorite GR-75 load out? A single with a good officer or a swarm of exactly the same? Post your transports and what they do to your fleet!

Single Medium Transports, with Expanded Hangar bay and Repair Crew, It goes everywhwere you need it and it cost you a dime!

Single Medium tranport, repair crew and Leia, hang in the back use obstruction as a defense and repair repair repair, leia gives a heavily damaged ship the eng in a clutch or the necessary squadron activation for your attack wing at just the right moment. Who doesn't love flexibility with a 3 command ship?!

Yeah! You got there!:)

I like using the medium transports with comms net and Leia. Raymus might work too.

Medium Transport, Quantum Storm, Flight Commander, Rapid Launch Bays + Keyan Farlander & Dagger Squadron in the hold. Bonus points if you can double ram a flotilla with tiny ghetto engine techs - oops I mean, Quantum Storm- then kill it it with Dagger on the same activation.

Also, if you have the combat retrofits, you could have Commander Sato for even more shenanigans.

With rebels I pretty much always take one with Toryn Farr, Bright Hope, and BCC as my "in the thick of it Squadron support".

But then the whole FC/RLB thing would be kind of a waste cause it would have had already shot. I mean, I guess next turn, but given the rarity OF a next turn when it drops bombers at distance 1, I don't know how effective it would be. If Quantum Storm ALSO functioned like Demolisher and let you shoot after that move.... lordy.

I cannot say how many times I have ran the Toryn BCC and cried at the fact I couldn't add Tua/EDM. Rue the fact she was never allowed to defect.

Tua doesn't seem like the Electronic Dance Music type, but you never know...

I have always wanted to try Tua/ECM plus slicers and Suppressor, but that's a lot of points into a flotilla.

I did it!
And it was so funny!! I ran a Gozanti with Tua/ECm/Suppressor against an Ackbar list, I couldn't stop laughing when he fired seven red dice scoring 7 hits and an accuracy that actually did nothing....he became angry and fired at the Gozanti with all his fleet for the whole round! That time I lost the game but watch a lone Gozanti facing an MC80 and two MK IIs was really amazing!!

My favorite GR-75 build and the one I use in most of my fleets:

GR-75 Medium Transports (18 points)
- Bright Hope ( 2 points)
- Toryn Farr ( 7 points)
- Slicer Tools ( 7 points)
= 34 total ship cost

I like to throw Ahsoka Tano on a transport with comms net. It gives so much flexibility to the rest of your fleet for 22 points. I've killed several ships by converting a nav token to a CF token to reroll for the final point of damage in the middle of an attack. She's insane

I like this kit too.

Because the toryn/bcc flotty is so many points I have been going ahsoka bcc and toryn bright hope.

Course admiral ahsoka coms net makes for a super useful lifeboat too since it can swing a fight without being in it.
