As Destiny sets are added and the card pool grows, it would be nice to see the increase in game mechanics to help revitalize old cards and to keep the meta fluid.
Things I would like to see:
1) A mechanic to return used dice back into the pool. Currently there are only cards like leadership or Bala ability that can do this.
2) An interrupt mechanic. Either character ability or a card that prevents your opponent from doing more than one action in a row.
3) A Disintegration mechanic, that permanently removes cards that cannot be recycled.
4) Dual or even tri-color characters (and/or cards that grant this ability), to allow for multiple color cards without having a color dedicated character in play.
5) Similar to above but different would be a few low cost Grey characters. Generic driods, jawas, dancers, medics, politicians, thugs...etc. The idea is that these have low health, minimal dice effects, multiple blank sides, but a useful small ability.
As an example: Medic driod - Grey - 4 heath - 2 character point cost - Neutral - (Dice: 1 Shield, 2 Shield, 1 Resource, 3 blank) Special character ability: Exhaust this character. Remove shields from another character to restore that amount of health.
OR - Galactic banker - Grey - 4 health - 3 character points - Neutral - (Dice: 1 Resource, 1 Resource 1 Disrupt, 3 blanks) Special character ability: Exhaust this character and discard 2 cards from your hand to gain 2 resource OR Disintegrate 2 cards from your hand to gain 3 resources
6) Paralysis mechanic - an ability or card effect that exhausts cards that remain exhausted for the next round. Example: 'Set for Stun' - 4 Cost - Red - Villian - Uncommon - 'Exhaust one an opponents characters - they do not ready in the next round but ignore all damage taken in that round.
