Phantom with LWF?

I've been running this list and it is fun.

I pretty much just use it as a Tie swarm that hits harder. It is pretty good, but it is definitely not top tier.

If we assume that we are using an action for defense, the two are nearly similar though the x7 has better range 3 defense against most guns, and mor health. Our sigma is getting an avg of 2 hits on four dice, but our x7, has an extra action for offense, averaging 2.25 hits on 3 dice.

Ok, unfair you say.. let's say we go with spa, instead.. now we have an action for offense, and avg 3 hits on 4 dice, but, over 2 rounds, given the cloaking round - and were no longer using LWF.

if we go LWF, we really should invest in FCS or Sensor Jammer to give our action to offense.. but it doesn't really get the point for point efficiency of the delta x7

What's fun is SSP's w/ LWF, Tactician and FCS. Puts a lot of hurt on ships.

For 1-2 turns maybe, then they're space debris.
