Just finished listening.

Best episode yet.

Amazingly well thought out questions/scenarios regarding painting. Very professional and enjoyable!

My only remedy for getting paint where I didn't want it was to cover it up. I'm looking forward to trying the wet brush thing to remove the paint though I think that means I'll probably need to let my models dry a bit more before changing colors. How long does it usually take for the paint to get to the point that the water doesn't mess with them?

Glad you guys like it!
Hopefully we are on an upward trajectory from here!

I'm currently at the shading portion of the episode and wanted to suggest another option for shading on a budget. You can make a solution of 3 parts water, 3 parts matte medium, and 1 part paint that will basically act as a custom wash. This lets you have a diverse array of wash colors with just one bottle of matte medium and the normal paints you use. It's a middle-of-the-road option for those who want a wash that behaves a little better, but doesn't want to invest in an array of individual pots.

EDIT: Okay, so I should have kept listening since something similar was mentioned with the Army Painter Shading Medium.

No problem! All tips are welcome to help those on a budget make their troops look good.

Good work guys! I like how you focused on the hobby side, I'm pro anything that increases people interest in not play the knights of the gray plastic!
