Suitability vs Speed

By Etaywah, in Star Wars: Destiny

This thread was supposed to be names "Sustainability vs speed" - Auto correct got me.

Now that SoR sped the game up to an intensely quick speed, I do hope they add some heavy survive-ability, allowing decks to counter speed, quick action and mill with counter-plays, responses to speedy decks, and recursion techniques that will stall out those game-play mechanics and open up more deck-building options.

Instead of speed I would like to see:

Super-slow support decks.

Anti-Mill recursion.

More "When" abilities that trigger in response to actions taken to steal away non-interactive action cheating techniques.

More healing capabilities (Since shield just took a massive hit with Vibroknife)

There is heavy survivability - all the Armor Belt combos work well, also Rise Again and Endless Ranks (and Cheat).

Anything more than that will shift the game in favor of hand disruption/battlefield control decks.

It won't happen. Aggro is the top pr second top choice in most games with deckbuilding. Aggro only works with speed, or it gets trumped by control types. Long games favor control, especially if there is recursion.
