Imperial aces are right where they should be.

I've got a squad with him on my short list for Store Champs. To explain my position a little, I've never played Fel before a few weeks ago. I tossed him in a squad for a local tournament just to see what would happen. I won with the squad, having never played with Fel against another human being. The speed, responsiveness, and firepower (using Targeting Computer), as well as the resistance to turrets, was terrific. I never played him at his height, though, and I don't own the Emperor. To me, he was just another part of the squad, and I didn't have any deep need for him to be alive at the endgame to close it out. It he knifed in and did some solid damage and put my other ships in a good position to win, that was fine by me. I probably used him a little more like Scum players use Fenn Rau, A hammer with A ticking clock at the worst, and against certain matchups, far more than that.

And if that change in tactics for him can work as part of a viable list, then all the better.

I don't mind where aces are, but how fragile and expensive TIE Interceptors have become.

Frankly I am worried only about three things - exceptionally cheap Jumpmasters, Sabine with her bombs and TLT.

Jumpmasters because overall this ship is just too good for those points. It looks like it wasn't properly tested because even first look they could use Deadeye should be a warning. I know this particular issue has been correced but my point is the problem is way to easy to spot so something went wrong.

Sabine - I am using bombs (also against aces), but it always required some skill and often worked only as a deterrent. Still I like it - my best achievement was causing 8 damage with two seismic boms from a TIE Bomber so I know how to do it. Sabine is just making bombing way, way too easy.

TLT - I strongly believe that the entire section about turrets is waiting for a new edition, so I am using TLT as an example only because it is popular and likely to appear in larger number with TIE Aggressors. Sorry, but exchanging broadsides is suitable for Armada (I have two fleets) and even if I like that flying in a formation and using defensive fire is in the game it should really be done in a better way. It is one of problems in the game which is hard to correct with a FAQ.
