EDIT: Cryodex is fine, let this thread die peacefully

By Herowannabe, in X-Wing

Getting ready to TO a tournament this weekend, and I downloaded Cryodex and started brushing up on my Cryodex skills, only to realize that Cryodex is still using the outdated scoring system with modified wins and draws. There doesn't appear to be any way to override that and use the current system of simple 1 point for a win and 0 points for a loss.

Am I missing something here? Did I somehow download an old version of Cryodex? Is there another program available for TOs out there or am I going to have to do it all manually?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: resolved- the link took me to an old, outdated version of Cryodex

The app for Android he made is up to date.

Not on the pc at the moment so cant see if my latest cryodex is up to date as well

I think it's up to date on the one I am using for PC. Just used it tonight.

Woah, yep, I somehow downloaded an out of date version (3.13). Trying again now...

TOME!

bwahahahha  Sorry I couldn't say that with a straight face. :P

Ha!

BTW the new version is working perfectly. Thanks guys.

Just going to put in a plug for Tabletop Tournaments; developed by one of the gents in our local gaming scene.

lol, walked in here like "oh hell no, what they saying about my baby?!?!" After AFewManeuvers went down people started googling for the link and the top hit was the older version before I went open source. I went and shut down the old one so the mistake shouldn't happen anymore.

So I know this isn't helpful, but there's an error in the software scoring... I need to hunt it down and give you a report. Send me a message, we'll talk.

Found it, check out my local store championship. (yeah, the local store won't use my software. Don't get me started...). The last round we had a bye player. He only got 100 MOV instead of the full 150 that a bye should give you.

Send a report to the developer mate (I think there is a link there somewhere). I'm not actually involved in its development (can't code at all). Was just plugging it for the guy who did. :)

OP, any chance you can update the top post to indicate the conclusion (old version)? ty!

How about a link to the current version and then letting this thread die?

I downloaded this on my laptop and it runs great. I'm trying to help an FLGS owner install and run this and we're getting an error: "could not find the main class: cryodex.Main the program will exit" Not sure how to fix it. and suggestions?

That error typically means Java isn't properly installed.

Great! Thanks. I'm no computer expert but I did feel it was something along those lines. I asked the computer owner if his java was up to date and he said it was all updated but apparently something is wrong. Thanks for the reply!
