  • Participation – Obi-Wan Kenobi ensured that the Death Star plans reached the Rebellion by disabling its tractor beam, and now his alternate art prize card can help ensure your stealthy victory! In addition, each competitor receives a stunning commemorative 2017 European Championship coin.
  • Top Third – After the dust settles from the Swiss rounds, players who placed among the top third of all competitors will receive a set of eight objective tokens: two each of four colors.
  • Top 32 – The premium three-compartment deckbox (pictured below), bearing the European Championship logo, awaits those who ascend to the top 32 of final standings.
  • Top 16 – A hefty medal will be draped around the neck of each competitor that ascends to the Top 16, bearing an inscription and game logo on its reverse.
  • Finishing Placement – An incredible playmat is awarded to each player who blasts their way into the Top 8. Each playmat bears an icon displaying the rank its bearer finished the event with, including Top 8, Top 4, 2nd, and 1st.
  • Top 4 – Each of these players will have the opportunity to build on their incredible performance at the World Championship by earning a free reserved seat next May!
  • Finalist – A plaque commemorates an outstanding accomplishment, and is complimented by a bye at the World Championship next May!
  • Champion – In addition to a radiant trophy, the European Champion wins the chance to inspire the selection and creation of a future alternate art prize card! A free flight and hotel room for the next World Championship will bring them to the pinnacle of competition, where they receive a bye in the first round. The champ is even allowed an additional free reserved seat, to bring a friend or companion to compete alongside them at Worlds.

Sooooo if anyone ends up with an extra Obi Wan card I would love to trade you for it or something. I need it.

Also if you win, pick a wampa or ugnaught or something as your Alt Art. :P XD

No offense to Rogue, but let's see an alternate art for Blaise.

Haha i was just kidding. I think it would be funny to do a card that doesn't get used.

Though in all seriousness I would have to pick an AA Davith or Chopper. Since Davith is still my favorite figure to play with in Skirmish, and Chopper is just one of my favorite characters.

So who's going? Last time I checked, of the 140 seats only 26 were booked.

There's a pretty solid group of about 10 of us from France that are coming. From what I can tell I think there are 36 registered in total so far.

That's a pretty baller alt-art.

I'll have to keep my eyes open for some second hand trades.

That Obi-Wan card?

So I'm a bit confused about this part:

  • The European Championship is held at the Premier Tournament Tier, used for elite competitions. It will utilize the same Product Legality Policy as events in North America.

Does this mean that the new wave (Hera, BT, Jawa, etc.) will be legal, as they will be in North America after May 22nd? Or does it simply mean that the 11-days-after-release policy holds, with 'release' being whichever date the wave arrives in Europe?

Release date in UK is may 18th, so it will be legal
