Which one do you guys prefer and why? Think of this in terms of a Qui-gon/Rey or Luke/Rey. I noticed a trend of people being excited about Light Bow in new builds. I am on the fence. It is hard to ignore the redeploy of Lightsaber. But we also now have Vibro-Knife as good redeploy so I dunno.
Edited by DJRAZZLight Saber vs Hand Crafted Light Bow.
I think Lightsaber is good early game, and Lightbow is good mid. If you get to round four or five with a Lightsaber on a character, and the Lightbow in your hand, I wouldn't hesitate to override the Saber with the Bow. The utility of its special is just too good to ignore that late in the game.
I use lightbow in my Luke/Ackbar deck, I run 2 and don't have luke's Lightsaber. The lightbow is just soo good, I don't know if I need luke's Lightsaber TBO. It is funny to me how undervalued the Bow is at the moment. I guess its' the mixed damage, but the special is amazing.
Edited by The Eighth DoctorI like Lightsaber and Luke's Lightsaber in QGJ/Rey because they synergize better in general with the deck and specifically with Guard. Not sure about Luke/Rey.
Kinda how I feel. The special on LB is awesome but the redeploy is so important on LS.
Love the light bow. No modified or resource cost sides, and the special works wonders against any shield deck.
So building a Qui-Gon/Rey deck. We have LLS which is the most powerful. LB which has the best ability and cost but cannot be re-deployed which brings us to LS. They all can't go in. So I guess use Vibroknife on Rey and overwrite into LS at the last minute. Then Jedi Robe on Qui-Gon to overwrite into LB. That leaves little room for LLS. Hmmm. Or take full advantage of a card like Guard and leave out LB all together. None of this would be up for debate if they had made LLS re-deployable.
Edited by DJRAZZIt's ridiculous how good the light bow is.

I put 2x Lightsaber, 1x Luke's Lightsaber, and 2x Vibroknife in my QGJ/Rey. It could take another LLS or a HCLB if you wanted 6 weapons in the deck. I took Jedi Robes out for Makashi Training.
I think the best way to find out if you like the Handcrafted Light Bow is to put one in your deck. And I just happen to have an extra I'd like to trade.
The other thing about the light bow is that currently, it lets you put more lightsaber-ey things in your deck! I play Luminara/Rey really aggro, and having 2 Lightsabers and 2 Light Bows in there is really helpful!

I like that Luminara/Rey deck. How does it play vs Qui-Gon/Rey? I really like the Chirrut version as well.
Edited by DJRAZZI've pulled 4 Chirruts so far, so I'm really craving a Lightbow at the moment.

I really have no idea. I'm guessing it's not as good... I traded for my second Luminara with a guy who's getting rid of all his stuff that isn't QGJ/Rey! I just really like Luminara's unique ability to turn Rey's 1 resource into 3 resources, because that specific combo makes the deck have a great economy (plus I always take Moisture Farm as my battlefield) but I think there's probably better options for Rey honestly.
