ok this deck is insane, it has yet to lose, in fact after a few games the concensus was thats it's too powerful.

ePalpatine

Event (17 )
so far only 3 death troopers came close to killing the Emperor but i with Maz Castle i drew both Premonitions and Rise Again healing 10 and getting Force Lightning and Force Push for Free.

I say this with no malice meant whatsoever...but that deck may be the single worst epalp deck I've ever seen. You should probably try playing against better opponents. The claims you make here are just ludicrous.

I tried building an ePalpy where most of the cards instead of being abilities/weapons are dice and card control instead. I have to admit I liked it in play - I'm not totally sure how "good " it is but I did stop a Poe-Maz dead in its tracks with it.

That is a bit harsh. But I do think this is not a special version that no one else has thought of using. I also think there are better versions to deal with the fast Meta. Plus ePalp is by no means over powered. It is one of the Tier 1 decks but has to have a certain amount of luck and must be played correctly. Also people have found ways to destroy this deck. I still find it a fun deck to play and fits my play style of simplicity and focus.

The best Palp deck I ever saw had only six dice upgrades in there. I think it was Force Speed, Force Lightning, and Force Throw (so yeah, pretty accessible deck, only six cards worth $50 or more! :P ) Everything else was dice control or character-damaging events.

I think the classic Holocron build is still the best. The only meta targeted card being Force Throw. ePalp is about playing the deck right. Tossing Force Lighting for a big Rise Again play. Rolling Palp in before anything else, which is hard to do because I always wanna throw Holocron on him before I roll out. It requires trusting the process.
