I was wondering if anyone had thoughts about how the tournament scene will work for L5r going forward. It sounds like FFG are going to add 8 kotei to their usual store championships, regional, nationals, and worlds. If this is the case then 8 makes sense as that's a lot of tournaments. But where will these 8 be located? Only 8 makes the list difficult to guess at.

My guess:

- Pacific Northwest

- California

- Midwestern US (Chicago perhaps?)

- Washington DC or other NE meta?

- Other North American (SE US?)

- UK

- France or Spain (annual switch?)

- Poland or Germany (annual switch)?

*Australia or Asia (was there an Asian playgroup, I can't remember). I'm in Australia now, so this one is a bit of a personal hope.

*I would think a Canadian event would pop up, perhaps Toronto or Montreal as Vancouver/Calgary guys have Pacific Northwest events, but it would have to take an American slot and I just can't see that happening.

Also, do we know how many rounds will be played per X players, and how the cut will work? I loved the old 7 rounds of Swiss, the cut to top 16, and best of 3s from top 8 onward. Will FFG keep the grind alive?!
