Hopes and dreams

By Badmojojojo, in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game

I hope they post the streaming game on Facebook as I won't be able to watch it live. I also hope they do an exciting tutorial like the one they did for Star Wars LCG. That helped me learn and was entertaining at the same time.

I hope they have a fast and steady release of expansions. That definitely helps the tournament scene stay involved and keeps the player base high. Think there might be a possibility of draft play? That would be awesome!

I hope we can influence the story. I never got to play the old 5R, but it sounds intriguing to be able to influence the cards. Did Old5R also get to make cards/characters if they won the major tournament?

Think this game will get a presence on other sites like cardgamedb for cards spoilers, forums, and deck building?

I have seen a ton of serious podcasts popping up. Think we will see more live casts with gameplay and commentary on utube? I was thinking of doing my own where we get drunk and talk trash about strategy and shenanigan. Would anyone be interested in something silly like that?

This concludes our overview of the general rules of Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game, but be sure to check out the Fantasy Flight Games Facebook page this Friday at 11 a.m. CST for our first Facebook Live Stream!

This is the blurb from the Banzai! news page, which doesn't mention a streaming game. Where have you heard about the streaming game? (I only ask because your post is the second one pointing to their being a game played on the stream.)

With so many podcasts already popping up about a game that's still several months out, I hope we eventually see a parody podcast akin to The Great Beards of Westeros where they review beards on cards and analyze beard-grooming strategies and techniques. Not sure what it would be called or what the focus would be, but it's important to me that this become a reality.

Shoot, sorry. I thought I read it was a game, too. I guess it is just a Q&A.

Someone in another thread assumed it was a streamed game too, so you might have read it there.

I guess I meant is I'm not sure whether it could be about beards. Facial hair, while not unheard of, is not a partcularly common trait among Rokugani people. I was thinking about perhaps Legend of the Sharp-Dressed Samurai, because every girl's crazy about them.

The elemental council is a beardy place. Figuratively, of course.

Hosted by Kakita Kaiten, Crane Clan fashion pirate!

I had a Sharp-Dressed Crab deck around Jade Edition and it was a blast. Always wanted to remake it in later editions but never got around to it. Might be able to do that again with the ??? Fashion card from Crane.
