MOM2e Dice Pack - On Sale Now

By any2cards, in Mansions of Madness

For those of you who can never have enough dice, the MOM2e expansion dice pack is on sale now at various locations.

I just thought I would let everyone know they are now available.

Yep. Just saw my 5 packs shipped out from Miniature Market this morning. I can't wait! We've been using some custom dice that I made (using blank red d8s and some clear address labels), but it's just not the same.

5 packs- that is quite..a lot. How many more packs do you think are adequate?

I went with 5 because I'm a bit... retentive. With 6 dice per pack, I figured I'd only need 4 packs to have enough for 5 players... but that would end up giving me 29 dice (including the 5 from the base game), which doesn't split up evenly. So... I went with 5 packs, giving me a total of 35 dice which works out to a nice, even 7 dice per player at a player count of 5. Completely unnecessary, sure... but the alternative would have just needlessly annoyed me.

I just ordered 2 packs & the thought of having an uneven 17 is driving me crazy... :)

Must be some kind of OCD thing...

I wonder if it is a marketing tactic that 11, 17, 23 and 29 are prime and don't work at any player counts. Might be best to pool purchases with multiple people.

Is it evil genius or am I giving them too much credit?

With a PhD in math, this makes me smile.

I received my packages of extra dice yesterday. I really don't know why, but this just makes me happy. No more having to pass dice around, especially at that moment when the amount of dice you need exceeds the number of dice that came with the game (5).

You can never have too many dice. :P

Will totally buy a couple of packs next salary. Enough dice on either side of the table to make one roll per test ought to be enough, so i'm aiming for 17. Too many would clutter the available space.

I just had my local store grab me a pack of them so we wouldn't have to pass them down the table every time there's a multiple investigator test. I know that 5 is enough to get the job done, but having more will definitely speed things up.
