It's a big acrylic token that does basically nothing. That's what it is. It looks cool, but I'm befuddled as to what I'm supposed to do with it, exactly.
Is it blue on the other side? Could be the squadron color indicator.

Nope, it's solid light black arylic on the other side.
Thanks for the large, high quality pics!
I'll know on the 20th what the mystery prize is.
I'm guessing it might be a marker for red objectives to mark the ships that are Advanced Gunnery, Most Wanted, etc.

They have one in the current kit, it's the round thing.
It's lil puzzling, its a bit big for an objective marker isn't it
That's a very pretty Alt art card for the GR-75.

That's the absolutely best guess I've heard so far. I could see using it for that - to mark an objective ship for objectives where one ship is special.

Could well be but the size of it is mahoosive, probably the best guess so far
There's not been an article yet, has there?
Is it the Bye for a Regionals? Like, you turn in that token and you're good to go from there?

That's what the bigger red card is for isn't it - well I assume it is lol
I don't know what it is, but I need that range ruler!
One day I'm gonna spend half my wage on alt-art cards.
For me the range rulers has a too strange color, but the tokens look great.
Anyone remember what the breakdown is for these?
GR-75 AA.
It's running away from combat.

Dont concern yourselves. That thing is mine.

After doing a lot of looking around, they seem to be - well according to this - objective tokens, bleedin massive ones if you ask me

As there are only 2 of them and some missions allow you to rack up many objective tokens, perhaps it is just a card on which you can pile up your tokens for shooting ships up the fundament or contesting an outpost.
Cover for the alt arts?

I think the idea is it's used to mark a specific ship as an objective ship on its card (for something like Intel Sweep, Advanced Gunnery, Most Wanted) rather than operate as an objective token on the board or on an objective card.

Sorry, but, that seems a little pointless then(if that's the case). Would be much better if they did special objective-specific tokens, like alt-art tokens for popular objectives(same circular tokens but with different art corresponding to the objective)(e.g. Medal token for "Advanced Gunnery" ships, mine tokens for "Minefields", data/intel tokens for "Intel Sweep" and "Navigational Hazards", hyperspacey-lightspeed-looking-art tokens for "Hyperspace Assault", tokens with "Wanted!" or "$$" for "Most Wanted", cargo tokens for "Salvage Run" and "Blockade Run")
EDIT: Now that I think about it, anyone have suitable art for this idea?
Might wanna try printing out on the many spare objective/victory tokens.
Or maybe a smaller, objective-token-sized version of such tokens for the respective objectives. But I think ffg alt-art tokens are more probable.

Initiative token?
2 of the cards are already on Ebay in the UK......that just seems wrong to me considering we haven't had any Store Champs yet.
Dodonna - £49.99
GR75 - £17.99
I mean fair enough. Sell them if you have spares after a tournament but to do this before it has even happened seems a bit much
