The Scepter joins Omnium Fleet with her sister ship the Scythe. Decided against doing a complete carbon copy of the Scythe with inverse colors and opted to give the Scepter a brighter red and some gunmetal gray accents.

I hope these were all like 99% done, and you're just posting them as you do the last 1%. Otherwise, your speed at completing these things is **** impressive!

Took me around an hour and a half each from start to finish. I may not be the best painter, but I pride myself on being **** efficient and fast as hell. I'm too impatient to be anything else haha

Frack man, it takes me longer than that to base coat it! Teach me your ways!

Know your materials and don't be afraid to try things that might not be immediately obvious as go-to options for painting these. I do alot of the legwork in staetdler micron pen and specter markers, sharpies, gel pens and colored pencil and just go over the whole thing in ardcoat afterwards to seal the work. I still use paint and washes for certain stuff, but the pen and marker I use oftentimes ends up being easier to work with and better looking than alot of the paints I've tried with the added benefit of being much much faster.

EDIT: Forgot to add, woodstain and dust. I achieve alot of the weathering and other effects from using actual dust and sand that I grind till its ultrafine and use in the seams and panel edges and then seal. Very tricky to work with, but again, much faster than other weathering effects and it achieves much the same result.
