What would the meat look like if x-wings were fixed?

I really like the Network Astromech (even if I don't think it needed to be X-Wing only).

But the Title, I don't. First, I don't like the action economy escalation. Second, X-Wing is a jouster (and thematically, a "Superiority Fighter"): it needs to be more efficient killing the enemy, not dancing around.

Let me know what you guys think! The basic idea for the T-65 is a dual card to open or close the S-Foils (ala Rouge Squadron 3D) that operates somewhat like cloaking.

Well, I just read this through haha! It would seem the community has already rehashed all of my X-Wing ideas a thousand times lol... ITSA TRAP!

I still have some ideas to make A-Wings and B-Wings more viable, as well as what amounts to a negative point, reverse hull upgrade to make TIE swarms even more swarm-y

My thoughts when coming up with the title were that the T-70 is way more fun to fly than the T-65 because of that boost action. It actually feels like a dog fighter. In this game all of the dogfighting ships (except the T-65) have some sort of reposition action. I also didn't just want to slap a boost on the T-65 since then it would be too close to the T-70. I figured the title I designed would be a happy medium and a logical progression lore wise.

No offense, but if you've only been playing for a month, I would garner a bet that you're not really aware of how swarm-y TIEs can be. I don't know how long it's been since I've seen a proper 7-8 TIE swarm (most are crack swarms or mini swarms w/ support these days), but they're SUPER swarmy. Against a good player, you'll often find yourself without a single maneuver that won't result in a bump. The Academy pilot swarm was the original control control list.
