So the new stuff drops tomorrow, but I know people at Worlds got to pick these packs up early, what are the stats like on the E. Jawa card? More importantly for those of us playing around with lists, what is the cost?
Elite Jawa?
3pt, 5 Health, 4 speed.
Is the skirmish version the same as the campaign version?
This pic shows the campaign symbol besides the name..
The stats are the same, the abilities are a little different. Go listen to the Team Covenant interview ...
I'm pretty sure the card photos are up on facebook and twitter already, and I think linked to in one of these threads too.
Okay, um, Elite Jawa kinda rules.
Don't forget the Utinni! card. Add that, and the Jawa become serious.
Seems like people will be buying 6 packs of these. What a money grab.

I'm totally with you on this. Pack could have, and should have, had two jawas in it.
As it is Im getting two packs. That'll do me
I got four packs for my strain list!
I just noticed the Leader trait on the elite, that makes things a lot more interesting as well.

Oh man, just one figure per pack? Dang.
I'll probably do the same; just buy 2 packs and get extra minis. I pretty much only play campaign, so I'd only be using 3 at the most anyway.
Anyone know where to get cheap Jawa minis in more or less the same scale?
So for packs like the Wookie Warrior, Alliance Smuggler, Hired Guns, this is the same kind of thing, you get one mini or one set of minis for both elite and regular deployment card(s). I think it just seems worse because they are so little? lol Or we are used to seeing them in a swarm. If they wanted to include more than one figure they would have had to make it a multiple deployment card, increase the price etc.. which I think is counter productive to what they wanted.
We got 2 Ugnaughts with Bespin because it came with two copies of the Grey Card. I agree it does feel like a money grab.. but no more of a money grab than what they've already subjected us to for years. So if you've got a problem with this then you should also have a problem with the sales model all the way back to wave 1.
Edited by FrogTriggerI'm assuming they will have the same deployment rules for the campaign as Hired Guns and ISB agents... One regular, one elite, so I've already preordered 2 copies of the Jawas.
Usually for the non-uniques it has been the number of deployment cards in one expansion. (The General Weiss pack does not have a component limitation chapter though, so technically you could run any number of AT-ST's. The component limitation chapter was added in the first pack after that that needed it, I think Hired Guns.)
Ally packs have a natural limitation in the campaign, because the heroes can only take upto one ally, and most missions where a group appears also specify that the group cannot be used as an ally in that mission.
As much as I'd love to run 6 jawa in a list, I'll probably only get 2 packs myself. I may have to borrow some to run the Uttinni! list once though.
Only getting 1 for the IG fix and because it will be nice to have an option of 2 point figure for campaign other than Imperial Officers for a change. Don't see myself needing multiples for skirmish since I only have 1 core set so I can't spam elite probe droids.

Ya that took me by surprise. Kind of cool actually. I played against one at Worlds in 4 player skirmish and it was pretty versatile and annoying.

Ya everyone seems to be excited about multiples, but I'm not quite sold yet. The expansion is solid, and ya having that 2 pt guy as a filler is good too.
he seems as good as a hired gun, but has better defense, a better and more consistent shot and you can only take one if your points won't allow the 4 pt pity party.
the elite opens up a whole different type of crossover list and gives Mercs Leader, which up til Jabba, they could only get from Temp Alliance. Most of the leader command cards require proximity, so having a cheap leader can really open a new playstyle or different command deck.
Hmmm. Now that we have some more 2 and 3 point single units, it's time to think about the largest number of groups you could have in one army...
4x rJawas (8)
2x eJawa (6)
4x rProbe (12)
1x C3P0 (2)
1x R2 (3)
3x rUgnaught (9)
That's 15 individual activations, 18 if you count the Junk droid for each Ugnaught. Absolutely ridiculous. And you'd have to buy 6 Jawa packs.
If you allow mixing between factions...
4x rJawas (8)
4x rOfficer (8)
4x rSmuggler (8)
1x C3P0 (2)
4x rUgnaught (12)
And then with the last 2 points you pick up Black Market and Indentured Jester (for 3P0 of course
).
That puts you at 17 activations, or 22 if you count Junk droid and Salacious B. Crumb.
That would be... kind of hilarious no?
Most of your figures will get one shot, but you've got 17 of them.. so you just keep activating. Even the regular Jawa's can still surge for +2 damage..
Before the "passing when you have fewer ready groups" rule, this list would probably be really good!
Need a few banthas to step on all the Jawas, and Jabba in the back room laughing at it all.
Ia m total newb at this game. What would be the best spam Jawa list to make? I am thinking maxium amount of Jawas and maybe even some Ugnoughts with Jawa stand in figures/ alt Jawa sculpts.
