Best mission for a 1 hour lunch break

Rather than a mission in a Pub, or HotAC, what are peoples opinions on the missions and their suitability to fit into a 1 hour time slot?

@heychadwick what are your guys thoughts on length of time to play missions? any play better/quicker than others?

We have all big boxes excluding the Shadowcaster, ig2000 and Houndstooth

How many people? Furball matches would be a neat idea.

its only for 2 of us at present. in the future i may be able to tempt my other colleagues into the fold but just 2 for now.

Hiya. I think if you BOTH read the mission ahead of time....and come up with a list ahead of time...then it shouldn't be too bad to get any of them done in an hour. I think the worst aspects are trying to get a list sorted, figuring out deployment, and special rules. If you got it all figured out ahead of time, you should be good.

Let me know what you play and what you think! What I like about missions, is the replay with the same people can produce a very different game. So, if it goes bad one time, just try it again.

I'm looking into mission 9 (the one from rebel aces) and have a scum, an imperial and a rebel list (scum can take the place of wither Rebel or Imperial so its all good) will see what he says. we can normally get through a 2 player HotAC mission over a lunchtime.

The mission that comes with the jumpmaster's expansion isn't bad.

Yep

We played the mission from Rebel Aces.

I played a Marrek defender with Tie D, tractor beam, tie mk2 and ruthlessness with a naked Howl runner and Wampa

Pete ran TLT, R2 Dutch, Keyan with hera crew and FCS and 2 green cracks.

I managed to wipe dutch off the board with a well placed range 1 shot (i had 2 hits and 2 crits, one crit was double damage and the other was Major Explosion) both A wings wend down to ruthlessness fire and Keyan landed about 1 cm in front of a token-ed up Marrek and got double tapped into oblivion!

I forgot my abilities as well so it was interesting. didn't lose a single ship and i realize now why i am not a Meta player (i have dropped playing Miranda as she is now Meta lol) i felt dirty flying the defender :o

might try the Jm5k mission next with me not running the scum list.
