If it was me, I'd just put ECM on my MC80 and release up the points for more ships and/or squadrons.

You may want to consider in investing in a squadron with Strategic? That comes with Relay which is useful

I would then have to switch to the other MC80 ?

I like it. Does the engine tech upgrade have a lot of use? A speed 4 ship with front focus firing may quickly fly past enemies or is it just to get the extra turning. Intel officer could be nice if you decided to replace it.

Also Rogue squadron in place of a YT2400 and frees up enough for a Skilled 1st Officer on the MC30

Made some further tweaks after running into trouble with the MC80L with Engine techs. I sooooo want this ship to have a defensive retro fit slot.....
