Johannes Broheim

By lentheman, in Warhammer Invasion Rules Questions

Hi have just started playing, and couldn't find this anywhere on the forum already.

The Empire hero, Johnnes Broheim can move between kindom, quest and battle field once per phase, does this mean you can gain +1 resource then +1 card draw then move him to attack also all in one turn??

This seems a little too strong?

Yes he can move once each time... but remember he moves at the end of each phase so don't forget where he needs to be by the end of your turn to deter attack, and then where he needs to be before your turn starts.

It is strong... but as a hero who jumps he greatly reduces your ability to play with other heroes at the same time.

Yep, that's correct.

But he can move ony at the end of each phase so if you don't move him to Battlefield at the end of the Kingdom phase, he cannot attack or defend Battlefield. IOW, you can't move him in any action window, but only at the end of each phase.

yes, this is exactly what johannes can do.

make sure though, that he is in your kingdom once your turn begins, since you can only move him at the end of a phase. the best news is, you can combo this sucker with shrine to taal, which can be a game winner ("uhm... so i've got 6 developments in my kingdom, johannes get +6, makes +7 resources... then he goes to the quest, lets me draw +7 cards and then finally to the battlefield, where he can inflict 7 damage... sweet").

Cue Blood for the Blood God demonio.gif .

cue: if i get to pull this off once or twice i will likely have another johannes or some pistoliers to fill the gap :)

Hey, that guy doesn't jump, he FLIES! gran_risa.gif
