I am new to playing any of the FFG Star Wars games, I have yet to play and want to find people online to play with. I have looked into Roll d20 but most of the groups have way more experienced players and often my "applications" get overlooked. Just wanted to know what any of you guys use if you have a similar problem?
Finding groups to play online
The games on this site welcome all players, regardless of experience with the system.
Full disclosure: I'm the site admin, so I can assure you that people don't get ignored. And we don't have "applications". If someone wishes to join a particular game, they just have to express their interest in that game's OOC thread.
Also pbp's routinely go up and recruit on this site.
Look for an IC at the end of a thread, if you like it pm the gm and see if there is room... If not there is turnover and you might get called back really quickly.
Join After the Fall ! Currently set in an alternative time line right after Order 66. Looking for three more players to round out the PCs, including a Pilot. You can choose from EotE careers or F&D.
The 4th (last) open Jedi slot in the After the Fall game has been filled. Slots for the two non-Force users remain to be filled, the owner/pilot of a light freighter being a priority.
EDIT: the party lacks any PCs focused on:
- Piloting
- Mechanics
- Medicine
- Ranged combat of any sort (light, heavy, gunnery)

If you have a favorite PC from a previous campaign, even converted from D6 or D20, so much the better.
The After the Fall game is now full up. But lurkers are always welcome. And I have other games with open slots still.
Because of the inconsistency of and lack of me being able to find active players or gm's and even lack of the fact I can't find an active simulator for anyone wanting to do online play and that their is no Discord... I made a discord channel to hopefully start up a place for people to meet and find others who want to play online platformed games... if the discord server grows more wildly... which hopefully it does then I will create supporting roles and channels... So, how would game play work? initial set up of scenario, and players post what their actions are?
