Maybe Sit Tight is worth playing?

By DTDanix, in Imperial Assault Skirmish

As I was considering the value of the 8 activation lists and how going last tends to be so good, it dawned on me that there is already a command card that says "You get to go last this round." That card is Sit Tight.

For the most part, I think everybody forgot about this card after the pass rule was introduced, but I wonder if maybe it is actually worth playing?

In round 1, you would be playing it to make sure you get that precious last activation of the round. In later rounds, assuming you aren't just blowing each other up as fast as possible, you can use it to jockey for position just like in round 1.

I'm going to have to try to fit this into my next decks to test it out, depending on the list. Maybe it will work best in imperial where you can always toss it to Zillo?

Sit tight is good if you draw it round 1, but after that it's very situational (unless both players are playing super defensively.) I'd rather have planning in my hand round 1; barring that positioning advantage, fleet footed, urgency, and opportunistic are much more useable throughout the whole game.

Definitly worth it.

In my opinion not worth it.

In Imperial you can also run Rule by Fear which gives you a better chance of seeing it in the first round compared to the other factions. And as you said, if not, it's a Zillo block. Could be great for unleashing an unscathed Driven by Hatred Vader right into the enemy fray at the end of round 1.
