I personally prefer ink, it's more controllable and dries quicklier.
Please note - microwaving quickshade will turn your extremely clean looking microwave into an average looking microwave very quickly.
I like the Golem. He's basic but in a good way.

I agree, the overnight drying is annoying. However I already had the dip from a long ago project so I figured I'd give it a shot. It wasn't fully dry when I took the picture so we'll see how much things have changed in the next WIP session.
And if you touch it with your finger you might have to remove it with water and ink again, but in a drying dipped miniature it can be a disaster!
