Playing a Corellian Conflict campaign here in a Portland, won my first game against a good player last night. Our table was in full bling (3D asteroids, painted ships) and multiple people stopped by to comment how gorgeous and cinematic it looked on the table. I am not very good at the game but I managed to fortress Home One and an Assault Frigate on a space station with perfect Ackbar side arcs - two rounds of big guns without moving, bumping and healing, was awesome.

I had fun today painting my Firespray, which I think turned out my best squadron yet despite the fact that it was only my second ever attempt at wet blending. Apologies for the crummy cellphone pic, and for the bit of space debris apparently caught on the left wing that I only noticed just now.

@Alzer Totally agree about the rag-tag Rebel fleet look. The alternate freighters from Mel's have totally been worth it.

@Green Knight Yeah, that's a Marauder (Utar's, not Mel's) - there are better photos in my painting thread.

I never minded the MK2 assault frigate, but ever since I got the MK1 on the table, I've been tempted to grab a second.

I'm painting my second ISD... It'll take a while, but I'm on vacation

So far one of my fun experiences is tinkering around with an A.I. system inspired by the Hero's of the Attari Cluster in X-wing. Still working with it, but my first test was fun. Ships firing at one anouther without defense tokens. A.I. beat me... lol ?

Well, I guess I'm gonna post again, 'cause seein' all these good posts has improved my mood.

I had fun with Armada today.

Though I didn't actually get to push plastic ships I did manage to complete the latest version of my command plate, and find a new fastener system that's not only one quarter the cost but should put much less stress on the dials. The files have been sent to be prototyped, I can't wait to start using them with Sloane! lol

I played @Ginkapo and managed to win a tight game against a quality opponent thanks to a few lucky dice rolls (his fighters missing, my Endeavor rolling perfectly).

I am stuck at home today and otherwise wouldn't have been able to play Armada.

I too had fun playing Armada today! I flew a decked out Vader ISD and an Interdoctor with token squad cover. Two activations. I greatly enjoyed the Gunnery Team'd, Spinal Armament'd, Ion Cannon'd, Vader'd ISD one shotting 4 ships in two activations.

@admiralryan deserves kudos for his crazy list of total speed control. Was a great evening of Not-Meta!

I played Take the Station with my wife a kids tonight. It was hectic, but a good time. The ISD is a tough nut to crack in that scenario.
