The Phantom, the judge and the Daredevil

By jgif, in X-Wing Squad Lists

Hello everyone, this is my first list here, and I would like your help to know if she is good enough.

The list is:

"Whisper" — TIE Phantom 32
Veteran Instincts 1
Fire-Control System 2
Gunner 5
Advanced Cloaking Device 4
Ship Total: 44
"Omega Leader" — TIE/fo Fighter 21
Juke 2
Comm Relay 3
Ship Total: 26
Carnor Jax — TIE Interceptor 26
Intimidation 2
Autothrusters 2
Royal Guard TIE 0
Ship Total: 30

The idea is to use the Whisper with its cloak flying fast and escaping from enemies, use the omega as an offensive support in battle, helping to bring down the ships, and lastly, Carnor as a defensive prop flying around the ships decreasing their defense.

I fly with a list similar to this one, but instead of the interceptor, I use two TIE / fo, Whisper and Omega work well together so far, the doubt that stays with me and that I would like the help of you. Is it worth exchanging the two TIE / fo for the "Suicidal" Carnor?

PS: Sorry for my English, it may not be the best you'll find around here :)

If you are good at blocking, or want to get good at blocking, I would say take the F/O's. They can control the board position and enemy arcs. I recently flew Quickdraw/Rexlar/2x Academies and the academies blocked a Quadjumper three rounds in a row preventing it from tractor beaming my aces. The F/Os can support your list the same way. Keep Bombers away from the aces, or preventing slooping Jumpmasters. Lots of people complain about the jumpmasters white sloop with torpedoes, and everyone knows when it is coming. Blockers are a thing of beauty when you get it right.

But be aware, you have no initiative with Whisper. Can drop gunner to Rebel Captive (really powerful right now with Mindlink and Expertise popularity).
