Speculations concerning the 'Imperial Favor'

I'm not so sure. While I really disliked Favor control decks that came about later in Old5R, I think that style of deck could exsist in Nu5R. So far it appears the Favor does less than before. It's not unimportant but it certainly doesn't do nearly as much from what we've seen. So a personality or event that allows someone to take the Favor shouldn't be too devastating. A 2 point skill swing isn't as big of a deal as losing your best unit and/or presence, thereby losing your ability to even take actions at a battle.

Cards that take the Favor don't seem out of the question to me. Unless of course the next spoiler says "oh by the way......the favor does everything" then I could see a problem with that. As it stands now the favor does not appear to super impactful so contol of it doesn't matter too much. Time will tell

I think this fits with the overall feeling I get from the LCG. It seems like it'll be less about making that one, game-winning action, and more about many, many, small actions adding up and hopefully outweighing all your opponent's actions. The Favor should help the person who gets it, but it should not, in itself, be all someone needs to win a battle.
