Yeah the total is correct. Double checked.

Maybe, but my comment is in regards to dealing with ace squads, specifically Rieekan ace lists, which I did not clarify. If you're worried about Demo, bring the usual to deal with it, whatever that may be.
You cannot design a list to counter every single thing.
The consolidate squadron attacks idea could become an upgrade card: redirects dont get spent when used against squadrons. Spend it at the end of turn if squadron damage was redirected.
My bet is on more squadron damaging upgrades like kallus.

Yeah, @Aresius 's list is very similar. Its powerful for sure. His list isnt completely negated by slicers. This one is.
I have played against Demo before with a slicers flotilla and completely played it out of the game.

A perceived weakness to slicer tools does not make that a terrible list. I'm also unsure as to how one slicer tools is going to "completely negate" this list, given that relay squad commands can come from pretty much anywhere, and he can bank a demo nav token before slicers can possibly be played against him, alleviating if not eliminating their deliterious effects.
IMO its a perfectly fine list. Two credible anti ship threats, 6 activations and an effective squadron force. I don't share Zepnicks concerns that its going to define the meta, but to call it a terrible list?

Where is the second credible anti ship threat? I see only one

Admiral Piett
25 points
During an opponents activation when more than one squadron attack targets a friendly ship, the defender may choose to consolidate the attacks before resolving them. Squadron attacks consolidated this way are treated as one attack in regards to spending defense tokens and resolving critical effects.
something like that? lol

The second glad. Actually if you count the squads there are three.

Luke, Wedge, Biggs, Gold Squadron, Dutch, Han vs. Vader and Black Squadron.
You forgot Pops. But then again, so did FFG.

Only for the one turn on which Demo spends the token, and only if you took that token on round 1.
See my Worlds game 1 bat rep for what happens to Demo against Slicer Tools Quantum Storm .

Again, so?
Slicer tools arent common enough to pick them out and say "hey this upgrade is good against your list so your list is terrible"
Also, his high deployment curve is a mitigating factor.

If you drink the "gid gud" kul-aids you would already have Slicer so you can counter everything.
Jeez Mad, don't you know how the forums work? You give you opinion and everyone else tells you it's perfect counter and why it's a bad idea.
In case you want some of that juice, here's the recipe:
1 part salt (must be derived from Demo/Rhymer/Yavaris)
1 part tears from the guy who lost all of his matches
1 part brow sweat from the guy who just won with Rieekan aces
1 part spittle from the guy who's angry about squadrons
1 lemon
And the secret ingredient: At least 3 flotillas. The more you add, the gudder you will git.

Are the flotillas for dipping or do they go right in?

It's like a breakfast smoothie. All into the blender.
What's all this talk about slicers countering Demo?
Why aren't you people using Navigation Officer on your Demo?
Madness!

Can't have explosive decompression if there's no atmosphere.
