Missing SWI numbers

By IronDan, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

I was putting together my shopping list for HotE, then i realised there are 2 missing numbers between the "Droids" wave and "Heart of the Empire".

Hera and Chopper are tagged as SWI43 and the HotE box is SWI46. This means we have a pair releases unaccounted for. This combines with the jump between the end of Jabba Realm wave (Jabba himself as SWI36) and The first of the Droid wave (BT-1 & 0-0-0 as SWI41) means we have a total of SIX missing releases.

The Jabba/Droid Jump could be big enough for an entire box release (which could account for the Shapeshifter card being an obvious early run) that could be our expected Endor Small box expansion.

The Droid/HotE looks like it could be a smaller add on wave, similar to the Bantha Rider and Alliance Smuggler release some time ago.

Has anyone else notices this? I can't be the first.

Check the Skirmish playmats.

Only SWI37 is missing.

Ah dammit!

It didn't even occur to me to check the skirmish maps. I was picturing wonderful things...

Admins, feel free to close this threat. Don't need it taking up valuable real estate with my ill researched theories.

One missing number is even more interesting than few IMO. If there are few missing numbers it's safe to asume it's wave missplaced in time. But when we have ONE missing number it might be project they're working on for quite long time for now, and the're waiting to show it to us - as it was with Scum Epic for X-wing ;)

SWI37 is possibly a skirmish mat which the rotation replaced before it actually got produced.

SWI37 may have been reserved for the app, although I think it was pretty early to be reserving a product ID. I have a feeling that the product numbers are assigned when the product goes to LFL approval.

At least two apps have APPXX (WFRP and Arkham Toolkits) numbers that show in the searches. Curiously these are APP01 and APP04, respectively. I would expect that any IA app would be APPXX as well. There are seven apps in the Google Play store, but I was only able to locate those two SKUs.

So that pretty much leaves us back at square one. It might be something for a podcaster or blogger to ask about (if the product has been cancelled or is still on its way).
