Decimator and TIE Defender List

Wanted to try a list that uses some harder hitting Imperial Squadrons. Thought about dealing with heavy on the Decimators by staggering TIE Defenders in between them and also using the Instigator.

Feels way too light on actual ships at the moment.

3 TIE Defender Squadrons ( 48 points)
3 VT-49 Decimators ( 66 points)

Thats one overloaded Victory right there, and you dont need ECM on a double redirect ship.

Decimators are nasty, there were a couple guys using them as flotilla hunters at worlds and they were really effective. Maybe try Morna Kee and 1 generic? The rerolls are probably a wash over a third base points wise and you get that constantly refreshing brace.

But your right, it is ship light, and Gink is right, a 111 point VSD (24 points is JJ) is begging to be either cut into a demolisher (around 25 points less, better nav, better damage) or into an ISD (all the things you are upgrading the victory for up front). Plus, with either of those

Cut all the upgrades on the light cruiser and swap for Dual turbolaser turrets. (16 pts). ECM doe snot generally benefit the Light Cruiser all that much. You would be better using this on the Victory instead so it can use its brace.

Expanded Hanger Bay (5 pts) on the Victory seems wasted since you have so few squadrons that actually need help moving on their own.

Looking at your raider chances are good you will get at least one crit when attacking squadrons so cut Ordnance Experts (4 pts).

These changes buy you 25 pts which gets you a Gozanti Cruiser Flotilla with Comms Relay helping out your Vic and providing the extra squad push/ship activation.
