Last year, I traded for a lot of several games. One of the games I received was Battlelore. However, it didn't include the Spider. So, what should I do? Try to find someone willing to sell a Spider? Piece the game out? Try to find someone to take the whole lot (sans spider)?

Well if you have the cards you could sub in an alternative from another game / craft / science discovery shop. There is the Creatures expansion set due out soon(ish) that'll have a spider in it as well as a blue version of it. Ebay is another option I've seen a person selling units from the game, I didn't go into too much detail as I wasn't really looking for those but it is another good source.

The creature summary cards are available through board game geek so all you really need is a critter. I guess when the creature pack comes out if someone has two base sets they maybe willing to offer the third mini up for sale?

You might also want to try contacting Fantasy Flight Games through E-Mail. I had missing pieces from a game before and all I did was send them a letter stating what I was missing and the pieces arrived at my house within the week. There customer service is awesome. I would give it a try since the piece wasn't there to begin with.

I didn't think that a spider mini would be included in the Creatures expansion, just the web/poison tokens and card.
