Jess Swarm Leader variants, help/advice

Just playing with different ways to build a list using swarm leader jess with snap/juke GSP's. Open to ideas about how to fill it in. So here's one option:

Jess along with the two awings comes to 71 points (without optional pattern analyzer). I am wondering about best use of those last 29 points. I would love to keep an M9G8 carrier in there to make an Awing punchier. Went with a TLT Y to help counter arc dodgers since everything is low PS. Otherwise the list is dependent on blocking them.

Could be other options to fill out this list- Thane or a generic T-70 with M9-G8. You could also skip M9-G8 altogether for a stress hog. Would like to hear ideas, particularly from those who have some experience flying swarm leader Jess. This is for casual play and I wouldn't expect to do well against Fenn/Uboats but would still like to win some games.

Have you considered an Attack Shuttle instead of the Y-wing? You could still equip a turret, and it has the evade action to contribute to Swarm Leader.

I like fielding 3 Gaps and give all 3 Autothrusters and keep your Jess build..I felt it does fine with out M9...And you have a backup Awing if one goes down for swarm leader

I've got a few Jess Swarm leader lists that I've used to varying success. Each is a little bit different and each has its own merit. The base of the list is very good against high point large ships or most small ships that formation fly. It needs help against high PS with re-positioning. Each list is meant to address that in some way:

1.

Jess - R2-D6, IA, Swarm Leader

2x Green Squad Pilot - Snap shot, chardaan refit, A-wing test pilot, Juke

Hera Syndulla (Attack Shuttle) - Veteran Instincts, Autoblaster Turret, Navigator

This plays pretty true to the 3x GSP list but Hera adds a lot to the list.

Jess - R2-D6, IA, Swarm Leader

Ezra Bridger - Elusiveness, Twin Laser Turret, Chewbacca

Prototype Pilot - Chardaan Refit

Ashoka Tano - Veteran Instincts, Captured Tie, Sabine's Masterpiece, Rey, EMP Device

This might be the best list as Ashoka shines here whether she is giving at combat actions to low PS ships or setting up kill shots with EMP. She is an adequate end-game ship along with Ezra who can tank a joust to TLT high priority targets in the rounds after.

You add another high priority target and a way for Jess to shoot at PS 9 in jousts.

I played Jess and two Greens at a 75 point night, and I've been thinking about what to add for 100, too. I was thinking that an Operations Specialist wouldn't go amiss, which basically means adding an Attack Shuttle or a Captured TIE. I might go something like this:

Jess + R2-D6 + IA + Swarm Leader + Pattern Analyser (31)

Green + title + Juke + Snap Shot + Refit (x2 = 42)

Ahsoka Tano + VI + Sabine's Masterpiece + Captured TIE + Operations Specialist (23)

That leaves four points, for which you could get Autothrusters on the Greens, or an Illicit on Ahsoka. You get three sources of evades, and if there's no one at PS9 that Operations Specialist will stick around for a long time. (Not to mention the actions Ahsoka will be handing out consequence-free. Those A-Wings could end up with a lot of focus tokens between them.) Alternatively, you could run Captain Rex instead, which gives you another 3 points to play with (though I'm not sure how you'd spend them at this point) and would probably take some fire off Jess.

Or you could go with the Attack Shuttle - Zeb + Operations Specialist + TLT. That gives you another source of damage, but your free focuses are gonna dry up faster. But then, you might not get that much use out of them beyond the first engagement, so who knows, maybe this is better.
