Well, let's look at what we have- 16 missions.
Each hero will get one read mission, leaving 13.
Also, we can assume that there will only be one intro mission, which I believe we can call "Dark Recon". So that brings us down to 12 left.
The last two campaigns had an interlude. For storytelling purposes, this tends to work out pretty well, so I think we can assume HotE has one as well. We're down to 11.
Now, here's where things get interesting. Hoth had 3 non-intro/non-interlude/non-finale story missions, with 5 Side missions. JR had 4 story missions with 4 side missions. So, assuming that we're always choosing between 2 missions (an assumption I'm not 100% sure we can make, but we'll have to roll with it for now) that means wither we're getting 6 or 8 possible story missions.
So, let's see... if it's 6 total story missions, that leaves us with 5 left. If it's 8, then 3. I tend to think that we'll be going more toward the JR model, since I think FFG is starting to put more emphasis on making campaigns deep and interesting rather than just replayable (with a ton of side missions) so I'd predict that we'll be getting 8.
That leaves us with 3 missions. We don't have any grey ones yet. I think 1 grey mission would be weird, so I'll suggest two.
Which leaves us with a single mission to serve as the finale... as long as I did my simple math right (which I don't totally count on, by the way).
So, here's my possible breakdown:
1 Intro Mission
1 Interlude
1 Finale
8 Story Missions
3 Red Side Missions
2 Grey Side missions
Personally, with what little information we know, I think a single finale would be more fun for this campaign, as the two villains have some animosity toward each other. I think a single finale where Rebels immediately square off against Maul and eventually get the opportunity to recruit him to help against Palps would make sense and be awesome.
