Which of these do you think would be a better fit in an alpha-strike list? Tel Trevura with VI, Guidance Chips, Boba Fett, Glitterstim, and Proton Torps or Kavil with TLT, Proton Torps, Guidance Chips, VI, and R4 Aggromech? Just in case your wondering, the other part of the list is N'Dru with Concussion Missiles, Glitterstim, VI, and Guidance Chips and Fenn Rau with PTL, Plasma Torps, Title, and Autothrusters.

Well, I think that the whole idea behind Tel is that he is a late-game guy.

Kavil is pointless without a turret, but running him as an ace for an alpha strike might work out well with Blaster Turret. You could run him past the enemy and get a lot of shots in.

Guess I'm here to give my unpopular opinion:

Talon Bane cobra:

stay out of range two (not always easy) and with some mindlink support he's a god of war. Four evade at range three and five attack dice at range one with a focus from mind link and his own TL he's one shoting imperial arc dodgers and Fenn Rau protectorates alike. For an ace he isn't the most maneuverable but flown well enough he's outputting insane damage and dodging shots like a madman.

However for an Aplha strike there's no better PS 9 in te scumbarmy in terms of damage (except maybe Fenn) and if you don't want midline chuck on fearlessness for another free attack meaning a possible six die attack.
