Critique my list please

This is the list I'm thinking about taking to store championships. It's a lot of fun to fly and has a lot of different components. Inquisitor is the main turret counter while Oicunn is the main ace counter. Wampa offers good support while also countering some of the regen and high agility pilots. Fanatical devotion is so good on the decimator and being able to intelligence agent before Boshek is great. What do you think?

The Inquisitor (34) - TIE Adv. Prototype

Inquisitor build is spot on other than the Prockets :), Wampa could be upped to Howl Runner for better value and Boshek + Oicun is an awesome combo but I'd swap .Tactical jammer for ion projector or anti pursuit lasers

something like this may work:

The Inquisitor — TIE Advanced Prototype 25

You lose determination and intel agent however the list packs a much harder punch and Oicun can do two damage a bump which can grind up smaller ships and aces.

as always when nothing is glaringly bad it's a matter of preference but I hop this helps or is at least food for thought ;) best of luck

I wouldn't necessarily say Howlrunner is better value over Wampa in this particular list. Inquisitor is taking target locks so he doesn't need Howlrunner, and Predator would be more beneficial to Oicunn instead of having Howlrunner have to follow him around if looking for re-rolls since you're dropping his EPT just to make Howlrunner fit, while saving a point with Predator (3 points vs the extra 4 for howl) so you could fit the intel agent back on the Deci.

I'm not sure how useful intel agent would be though without any real way to reposition the deci after you move. Also not sure about how well Hux fits in here.

I like Mara better if you're trying to make them bump you anyway. If the Ion Projector doesn't hit, you can at least dump a stress on them at the end of the round. You've got a couple points left over where you could put TIE Mk II or Targeting Computer on Wampa, or save it for an init bid

Edit: Or you could drop Intel Agent (I had just left it there for the hell of it) and put in Rebel Captive. Try to really dump the stress if they don't bump you to make them a little more predictable.

Intel agent works with Boshek. There is never any guess work. I can intelligence agent a ship I am going to Boshek this round and decide if I want to use Boshek or not, it takes the guess work out of the game.

I took determination because the decimator is so vulnerable to "I'll show you the dark side" Oicunn does not want the stunned pilot crit.

Wampa vs howlrunner... honestly I love Wampa, I like the ability to just give free damage with a crit. Plus Wampa is PS 4 like Oicunn so I can decide to move and shoot first between the two.

Prockets, with General Hux, I can give a focus to Inquisitor and he can boost and target lock range one much easier. Just a good way to deal extra damage to a key target.

Yeah prockets aren't bad on Inquisitor either for when people want to try and get into range 1 of him. Best way to see what changes (or not) you might need to make for your play style is put it on the table and see how it goes. I don't really see it as a bad list as is.

Thanks. Yeah I'm just not sure how well it will work against some lists. My main worry is that Oicunn will just die too fast.

I like this list a lot. Each ship covers the others weaknesses. Its the type of list that if flown strategically, would wreck (mostly due to BoShek/Intel combo) but either way, hard to tell which to target first. If they go for wampa (or whatever tie you choose) they leave the others free. Lists like this pressure the opponent due to the question of who to hit first, which means you can use B/I combo easier. Really I would hit Inquisitor first. Only real way to cripple the list. Not an easy task, but Deci will take too long to crack. Crits may be a weakness for the Deci, but Determination helps with that. Very solid.

Thanks! Yeah I've flown it four times and only lost once when I was tractor beamed through/on a rock by a quad jumper. Inquisitor died with a asteroid direct hit.

Dang son! tough loss. Those tractor beams are looking mean. Im surprised you dont see more in tourneys (at least not where I play)
