Inspired by the T-70 thread and watching Worlds streams, I started thing about a large base ship with the staples of most triple T-70 lists (Jess and Nien). I'm not sure where to go with it, though. I think Cassian would be a great match for Nien, maybe with Inspiring Recruit. Thoughts?

Nein has his own stress removal technique, so I'm not convinced Cassian is the best U wing for the job. Heff is probably better.
I've found Nien and Jess to be the best T70s for their costs and the 3rd T70 often is a complimentary ship.
The list I've migrated to is:
Jess Pava - R2-D6, Snap shot, Integrated Astromech
Nien Nunb - Snap Shot, R3-A2, Integrated Astromech
Eaden Vrill - Smuggling Compartment, Anti-Pursuit Lasers, Feedback Array, Operations Specialist
Vrill is an underrated pilot who pairs excellently with stress Nien since Nien buffs Vrill's shot and Vrill controls area/denies actions via bumping to set up Nien. This list has 24 HP behind 2 agility. With you limiting enemy actions, that is very resilient. With Snap shot/Operations Specialist, this squad has a way to gain extra damage/dice modification for aggressively closing range.
It is difficult to pilot but there is a great payoff as this list is capable of pinning down a target and annihilating it. I think the list has a lot of potential. I've played some games with it and haven't lost yet going against: Ketsu, Bosk, Whisper, Ryad, Vessery, Omega Leader, Duchess.... still looking forward to facing some scum and rebel staples but I'm fairly confident against mindlink lists.

He does, but I've found if I have an opportunity to stress with Nien, it's worth it to fire regardless of range or my ability to pull the stress off Nien.. I K-turn and T-roll a lot with these T-70s, so it'd be great to have more maneuver options. I'm not 100% committed to Cassian, but I think it's worth a look.

To be honest I don't know which crew is good on the U-Wing, but I enjoy being able to hand out tokens (including an evade with Jan). Makes the U-Wing a little tougher. And with Heff's free action when overlapped Jyn's ability can be used more often.
Another option would be to take the stressbot off Nien and put targeting astromech on there.
Possibly have too many points on Snap given his limited pilot skill

For Jess here how are you finding her with Snap Shot given that you can't use her ability with it? Is it just there for the attack before they have the chance to token up?
Edited by HeavyguardIt is there to help trigger operations specialist on a turn where I commit forward. It lets me boost both Nien and Jess into the fray and then token up before they can be shot.
Snap shot + operations specialist means that whenever they land in range one of either of the t70s they either take damage or give me a focus.

Allows Cassian to strip focus from two ships before your other ships fire. And because he fires so early in the round, he'll often grant you a measure of defensive utility as well. Works like a charm.

Yeah I realised that after I posted, only just started using Black One.
I think Snap would probably benefit from VI more than from Outmanoeuvre, he would dodge arcs much better at a higher PS.
@gennataos Basing my list off yours, here's my take on Cassian (the T-70s remained unchanged).
I really want the U-wing to shine, but the right combination of upgrades or wingmate hasn't been discovered yet. It's still a pretty decent ship.
In this version, I've foregone the typical FCS for Advanced Sensors & Expert Handling, so you can barrel roll before moving, and if you've dialed in a green, you clear the stress that comes with it. It's surprisingly maneuverable.
Ops Spec will at least let you give someone in your squad a focus for missing a shot, and Jan can turn it into an evade.

I know Proton Bombs are expensive, but they're nasty little things if you get them to hit!
Bombardier could be dropped in favor of giving Snap a different EPT, but I like that I can shoot a bomb out to range 2.

I went 1-2, primarily through my bad flying. My idea was to use the Jyn/Jan combo on Cassian to help Biggs survive as long as possible and trade him for something more valuable. Cassian really wants to stay in the back for as long as possible because he needs 2 turns (and to be stress free) to turn around (at 1 agility).

Biggest thing I would change: swap Jyn for Rey crew
It's a lot of ship for 33 points, or at least, it -feels- like a lot of ship. Jyn proved too risky; she can hand Biggs a fat token stack, but what good does it do if you blank out? If you can't turn around, how are you going to guarantee that Cassian has enemy ships in arc for Jyn? Cassian also misses tokens on himself, and if you bump, you're up a creek. FCS and Rey is proving to be the better answer in most of my games; it costs the same and gives you a cheaper Advanced Sensors when Cassian stops, and you already have the TL from FCS.
Cassian's biggest benefit is, of course, removing stress from other ships at range 1-2. I enjoyed using it to protect Norra from Rebel Captive and other threats. It won't mitigate Latts Razzi due to the timing of Asajj, but will still allow PTL ships to do so safely. I think Inspiring Recruit on Cassian is potentially overkill. Cassian's stress removal does not trigger Kyle Katarn, sadly.
My build is not the only good U-wing build, but the U-wing itself is rather limited, and you can see that what I have for 33 points is inferior to a Jumpmaster at similar cost. The lack of any 1-hard turns is killer. If FFG were to buff this ship, I would give it a 180 arc like the Hound's Tooth to make it the Rebel party bus.

I just posted a thread on a similar list I've been running (https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/249841-heffnorrabiggs/). I like your idea for Cassian after the Jyn/Rey swap. Getting that arc on ships after the initial encounter is tough, that's for sure.
