Sorry haven't been around in a while.

As some of you might now, I dabble in (very amateurish) CG modeling and animation. After having gotten the X-wing version of the Corellian Corvette (on which I am currently doing yet another CG rebuild), I also managed to get the X-wing Millennium Falcon and Lambda class Imperial Shuttle, and the Armada Imperial Star Destroyer, the Victory class Star Destroyer, and the Gladiator class Star Destroyer.

Well, having picked up a few new quick skills in Blender, I decided to have yet another go at building an Imperial Star Destroyer, using the Armada ISD as my template for layout and exterior textures. For part of the hangar bays, I used a screen cap from the special edition of The Empire Strikes Back.

Have rebuilt my Corellian Corvette (also taken from the large X-wing Corellian Corvette miniature).

And now, I am yet again rebuilding the ISD, to try and add more details to it. Half of building is rebuilding.

And as I always say: Measure thrice, cut twice.

So here is my latest build of the Imperial class Star Destroyer.

You can see the additional hull lighting, and the tractor beam projectors in front of the main hangar bay.
