Theory behind it is to use both Slicers to counter carriers. The Tractor beam Slicer is to deal with Admo and Demo.

Rhymer let's you strip tokens from far away. Howl+Dengar gives counter 2 or +2. Everything rolls 5+6 dice against squads except Rhymer.

Sacrifice the Tie/F if need be.

Spending tokens via Sloane will trigger Avenger so you can wipe something off the board.

I have no experience with this list. I think I can run it fast since all my ships can keep up and let the ISD I get in range.

I think it'll crush something. I prefer taking Lambdas for objective play. They still get a blue against ships, and they can let you play a proxy squadron game away from ships, while Rhymer would let them get back into the ship fight faster than a non-rhymer build would

I have to find something to cut then. And I like to have an even number of squads since I only have 4 ships. It's a good idea.

Where is Jendon? Saber Insta-Kill Squadron. :D

Of course as it is you have more drops.

I tried to fit Jendon, but opted with 3 Tie/F instead. 3 squads vs 1, and with Howl+FC, it's 15 dice and 3 rerolls compared to 11 from Saber and 2 rerolls. I was really trying to maximize the Swarm+Counter+blue dice potential with this list.

Ran an Avenger pivot list at worlds and can say without the bomber ball it wouldn't have worked. You need 2 ship threats, otherwise they can just run away from avenger.
