yeah these look really rushed... clean up the tokens and maybe I'd buy them, but man the ruler and the tokens look bad for the price.

You are making your own tokens and Templates? The Runecast would love to get their hands on some Runecaster made templates and tokens Have any prototype images yet?

Yeah, sorry, I've been up to my eyeballs in X-wing stuff, but I have made some progress.

So far I'm made a two-piece deluxe tray like I do for X-wing. The bottom hold a full set of templates, and the top has notches in it to hold 15 trays without letting them shift around a bunch. Both trays have felt on the bottom and rare earth magnets that hold the bottom tray and lid together. I don't have very good photos of the finished tray, but here's what I have so far.

I also made some acrylic Rune tokens. I don't think I'm alone in thinking the ones that come with the game are a little difficult to read, especially in less than perfect lighting across a table from you. I like that they used both color and shape to differentiate them, but I wish the shapes were a little more obvious. I made mine super obvious, and included a color on the outer ring as well as the rune symbol. One quick glance will let you know exactly what's out there. To add a little interest to the run shapes, I added text inside, so I can also remember which rune is Natrual (N), Stable (S), and Unstable (U). Here they are next to the stock ones for your viewing pleasure.

I'll also be making acrylic templates, and I have blanks made up, but I'm taking my time with the artwork. It takes a little longer if you don't rip the art right off of the FFG templates . Anyway, I'm happy with the look of them. They are different than what comes on the stock templates, but I think they fit the aesthetic pretty well. Avoiding copyright infringement is worth the extra time. Photos soon.

There is a local guy who did X-Wing templates for our FLGS, so I'm trying to get hooked up with him. We need a logo and some other things to fall into place, but it is one of my ambitions!

These look great, I've been waiting on your RuneWars line before I order some Star Wars from you and my refresh button is wearing out.

I'll be honest, every time I look at the "N" it looks like an "R". I do like these as a design as a whole since they are simplified symbols.

That's a fair comment, I see what you mean. I want to keep the kind of Gothic aesthetic, but maybe there's a little bit too much flourish on that "N". It'd be easy enough to bend that leg the other way so it doesn't look as much like an "R".

My apologies . I've been slacking on posting new stuff lately. We finally got some sun in Ohio, and I must have momentarily lost my mind. I'll get some listings up with some more photos of the Runewars Deluxe tray so you can stop abusing that refresh button.
