Here's the progress of building a small hill with a ruin from layering foam tiles to applying flock and bushes.
Could not get proper EVA foam tiles. so I had to go with the toy ones.
Foam glued onto a cork base (I wanted these to be light).
After cutting of the excess foam I put on some air drying clay to smooth out the hill. Cork was used for small bricks and stairs.
Afterwards I added some decoupage stone texture paste to texture the entire surface with.
I added some broken walls and primed the thing black.
Sprayed some gray and brown on to save me time painting the bits by hand.
Drybrushed on dark brown, then Sand Brown onto the dirt. Grays and browns onto the stones.
Afterwards I glued on static grass with PVA glue, some flowers, bushes, moss....
Now for the big reveal.
