FFG's Star Wars article for the day - any insights for Empire at War?

I'm always interested as to how the RPG ties into this game. Yes, they seem unrelated, but this game does have some minor similarities. In the RPG, characters are "light side" or "dark side", and there are some parallels for the whole "rogue/force/command" archetypes.

So what do you think?

I know there's been talk that supports are a little weak. Do you think this game might start getting some "technician" and "shipwright" type characters who power up and help build supports, especially vehicles? Also, maybe we'll get some more powerful supports such as destroyers and space stations.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but FFG definitely likes reusing this kind of stuff... and yeah, maybe I'm just fidgety because SoR release is tomorrow!

They sure do like to reuse the art work. Seems some kind of Kamino cloner card will be coming.

I'm more looking forward to seeing if that bombardier guy on the cover of the sourcebook becomes a character!

They always need generic yellows.
