mine was only able to get ONE THIS TIME and only THREE last time, plus got news that the one box that was coming in ffg delayed for some reasion. Yep the distribution error was solved I fell so dumb for worrying /sarcasm
Spirit of Rebellion shortage.
All the stores in my area have plenty of boxes and single boosters in stock (but not selling them on-line which I appreciate).
all the stores in my area have an abundance on the shelves also. I guess it must be a regional thing
I agree, this issue seems to be regionally based - my area (1-hour radius around place of residence) is practically dead. We've had 3 events for SWD around here since January and they've had 16 or less people each. Out of those 16, it breaks down to 3 hardcore people (plus 1-3 of his/her friends playing their extra decks) and then a couple of father/son duos (myself included in that last group). I am just really trying to stay positive about the game, but I don't see it taking off at this point. I still can't reliably say "hey, check out this game" to someone and point them at a store in my area that will actually be carrying product reliably. There are 3 gaming stores in my area and this game is just not their priority right now when there are still supply concerns. I know we are still early in the life cycle of this game and I still have hope that it will turn around - but just not seeing it in the short-term for certain.

it's a shame this game is fun, and could have a lot more players if we could have had product on the shelves to sell to ppl.

May be his distributor, in which case the stores are somewhat coming along for the ride.
Some distributors are bad at hoarding product they know will have a high resell value. Truth is I am not see a lot of movement on ebay of this game and the shortage seems to me to be artificially induced by the hoards and price gougers. I get the feeling there are more resellers than there are players.
ACD, Alliance and Asmodee Direct are all options on this one. Not to mention PHD, Georgia Music, and others. If his store doesn't have stock it is their own fault. Plus, I am sick of his whining.
I think it is very telling that we can't even order on THIS site. I am starting to see a bit more product online but still nothing locally. I understand the distributor problem as well as some hording. I Can't understand why FF would not have any stock set aside to sell directly from the game's home page. Perhaps the next wave of SOR is coming soon, and potentially Awakenings reprint as well.
SoR boxes have been in stock for a few days in a row now at Miniature Market. So maybe more is coming in. Just a heads up!
They've had them in stock at '20+' since last Thursday. Unless your unwilling to purchase online, the shortage issue appears to be over.
Well MM only has 13 boxes left as of this post. So yeah, they had them in stock for quite a while for a product being hoarded and resold like crazy. This means the secondary market isn't going well. Wave 3 should stay in stock for quite some time.
Asmodee just signed a deal to have their products distributed through a single distributor. Seems no one likes them but it would address the issue of some distributors having plenty of stock and others having none.
Well we still haven't received anything, thats 18 boxes over a month since release.
My LGS constantly has 2-3 boxes on the shelves. And they are constatly rotated as of yesterdays local tournament for example we drained almost 2 boxes dry
One of the Belgian online shops (they likewise offer through BoardGameGeek), revealed to me today they begin preorders this Thursday and they said they item would be accessible on 5th of june.

I am also starting to believe it has something to do with his store owners/dristubutors. there are still plenty left on the shelves in my area and I know every store ive asked got everthing they asked for. in fact one ordered more and got it last Thursday.
Looks like miniature market is out of stock now, but it is a good sign that they were able to have so many boxes available. I was able to get one box online and another box through my local store. Now on to the awakenings reprint!!
Edited by RawF15I received a notice the other day that Team Covenant has boxes in stock now...not sure how many, but as of this post I can still buy one.

Or the LGS doesn't stock it because they are afraid it won't sell? Not a box left with distributors in Europe, but we all got plenty on stock to carry us in the next few months.
