I believe that 3rd Place (Jeff's) list is an Ackbar MC80 + 4 GR75s + VCXs and support squads. An extreme token shenanigans list.

Three of the Top 4 are Reikaan Aces list, though #3 (Jeff Berling) is playing an Ackbar MC80 list. He's a pretty big name from X-Wing, I think. Cool to see him doing well in Armada too, and at least there's a non-Reikaan in there.

Laughing at people who told me that there is no metagame in Armada XD.

There is a metagame in every game as soon as it start being played competitively.

Not 4, but certainly three. I didn't get a good look at jeffs list, but it was clearly a death pickle, probably ackbar, with at least 3 vcx for manipulation.

Had I attended, I would have had something similar. More CR-90s though.

Well, gents, I had a blast. Got 5th overall, missed the cut by 39 MOV. Had a great time and every opponent was a wonderful sport. Shout out to @Vergilius, @Naboobo2000, and @CaribbeanNinja for some great games.

I think I've heard somewhere about Rieekan being stronger than his cost by far too. And doing too much with ace squadrons.

If 30 out of 72 people enter Rieekan aces lists and 3 get top 4, is this more or less impressive than 1 of 2 MC30 heavy lists getting top 5?

At least two. Plenty of others running multiple 30s
