What Starfighters/Ships would you like to see be made in (a) future wave(s)

A fair enough idea, but I have (or rather I'd feel the game would have) problems with that approach:

  • PS0 is such an 'exceptional' thing that I wouldn't want a ship to get it by design. PS1 is "just competent" pilot (an academy pilot, recruit, or someone in a brand new prototype), so having the droids be that level makes sense to me (TIE droids - unlike the trade federation junk - aren't shown as inept, just "not as good as a veteran pilot"). Since PS0 exists as something 'special' that you only get by systems upgrades (enhanced scopes), criticals (damaged cockpit), or pilot abilities (torkil mux), giving a pilot it 'by default' seems wrong.
  • 10 points means 10 ships on the board - the game has kept 12 points as a 'hard deck' for a reason that 8 is more than enough to try and track at once. More than that in a swarm will really slow the game down.
  • 2 hull no shields makes them very fragile - not a complaint per se, but if they're going to be that fragile, I like the idea of 'bundling them up' into a multi-ship-base, because (since they also shoot last) otherwise they're going to die in droves without ever firing, which kind of voids the point of fielding them. They weren't meant to be noticeably more fragile than any other TIE, anyway.
  • Having a huge action bar isn't actually that useful on a generic which doesn't have more than one action. I agree with not giving them focus actions, though.
  • Not having speed 1 is a choice, and helps the ship feel fast (if a bit unwieldy in close). ALL ships have a green speed 2 straight, though - because that's why a white speed 2 straight is the 'stress-on-red' default maneuver; because every ship is capable of it.

An interesting thought would be to make 10 ships possible, but only by using titles that require all ships with that title to set an identical dial until some critical juncture, maybe until at least two of them have been destoryed.

I would love to see a Jedi star fighter from attack of the clones. I thought the design was unique and the jedi starfighter only modification for hyperdrive booster ring could make for some fun customizations

Especially if the ring could attach and detach. When detached it could be an obstacle

Swarm-class battle droid .

I kid, a bit. It clearly wouldn't fit since it isn't Imperial, Rebels, or Scum (really). Skipray Blastboat is my more serious answer, mostly because of nostalgia. I loved that ship growing up.

V-Wings would be cool. The "Invisible Hand" would be sweet as well as a huge imperial ship.

Those little cloud fighters from ESB could be fun as well.

Tie Hunter with S Foils , and a 4 base attack, 3 agility, 2 hull and 2 shilde,. Boost barellroll, evade and focus . and a good dial, would bee the dreeeem!

And the TIE /D automated, Ps 1 , 2 across the board, no shildes, and a pointcost of 8 =) And boost , barellroll. Targetlock. THink of 12 of them on the board =)

From the old canon, we're still missing the real Z-95 Headhunter. Not this clone Wars-era thing we have in the game, but the one from the old Rogue Squadron comics with the S-Foils. Plus, S-Foils could be a built-in X-Wing fix, without having to release yet another X-Wing pack. latest?cb=20150618053518

From the new canon, we're still missing the Mining Guild TIE, which I'm not actually adverse to as long as it has all the scum Pilots be weak and overpriced but comes with cards that help out good old fashioned Imperial TIEs!

And I still think Dr. Aphra and her murderous droid friends would be fun, with the ship The Ark Angel! But please make them have both Imperial and scum pilots, FFG !

And, from the video game canon, we're missing the Skipray Blastboat, which I used to not be a huge fan of, but I have to admit it's grown on me!

And the Slave II would actually be ok, because it would be funny to take the Enkidu title and fly it alongside Emon Azameen!
