Non - worlds tournament

Looking for a decent all around build to counter Miranda lists with bombs.

Was thinking 2 Jm2K or Dash/Norra

Any ideas/suggestions appreciated.

Miranda is ps 8, with bombs and turrets. Fly ps9 with autothrusters. Soontir fel? To prevent her from flying in front of you and slamming to drop bombs, make sure to keep other ships in front of your ace, a mini tie swarm would work nicely as a meat shield. That and a swarm of attack dice against a 1 agility ship like miranda can easily melt her.

Best bet is probably some scum list with a bumpmaster. Use her poor dial against her. She can't do bombing shenanigans if she keeps running into your big blocker.

TIE/Ds wreck Miranda (and pretty much everything else).

I've tried several variants, but I still find Biophysical's list to be the best all 'round version:

44 Rexler w/ Predator, Tractor, Hull, TIE/D.
44 Maarek w/ Predator, IonC, Hull, TIE/D.
12 Academy.

Go with double TLTs, Biggs, and a fourth of your choice like Stresshog or Jess with stressbot would work. Miranda has to be in range of TLTs to regen, so you take 4 and she regens 1. Not a good trade off for her.

My "38 Special" destroys K-wings. I built it for Miranda and Defenders. Have not lost to either. Miranda goes down super quick with double TLTs. A Miranda/Norra match lasted about 30 minutes. Played against double Kwings and a stresshog as well. Heff chews up the bomb damage with 8hp, and TLTs wreck em after they slam. Miranda and Kwings cant slam into Heff to prevent firing at them, thanks to Zeb crew, so they have to fly away, which means TLTs do their work.

You can lose FCS and Jyn on Heff, and upgrade HWKs to Ywings. Gives it a nice Rogue One feel.

I havnt noticed lol Miranda isn't popular in my area, only one guy flues her in a bomb squad. And I personally pushed palp aces out of my stores meta the moment scum came out XD Although I have played a practice game with a friend back when tlt spam was popular, he had 3 KS with tlts and my Palp aces couldn't cope. Eventually created tanky Guri with auto thrusters and sensor jammer, never lost a game to tlts again lol
