By Sake-house-brawl, in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game

Hey Guys! Dragon Clan Episode is up! Enjoy!

Am I being obtuse or is there no direct download for your cast?

I will say that the dragon cards are very good. But playing the game they are also very expensive. Putting fate on the rings while attacking almost always means giving your opponent fate. It's much harder to afford buying all the stuff you need in dragon while lion guys are really cheap and don't need extra fate. I think there is more of a trade off than it seems.

The latest SakeHouse Brawl Episode on the Crab is live! #l5rhonored #l5r #UtzBanzai !

I know you guys were just having a laugh, but I thought I'd chime in and say I think the theme of covert is fine. Kaiu Shuichi for example is a builder. In a military conflict he's probably just building a tunnel or something to bypass a defender. In a political conflict he's probably just building a tunnel or something to bypass a defender :) The text on his card should read something like "I'll debate you, but you gotta find me first". That Tattooed Wanderer is probably just dazzling a defender with his manly bare chest.

Steve, Mike, and Jack return to discuss romantic novels, sandwhiches in Alton Towers, Gencon and the Unicorn clan.

Thanks for having me on, Steve!
We recorded this the Tuesday immediately following GenCon, and it's fair to say I was still a little spaced and fatigued from the event. This means I omitted mention of someone that played a huge part in making it possible for me to play at GenCon, and I'd like to redress that right now.
I missed out in the scrum for Thursday tickets, and it's fair to say I was devastated by this. However, my friend and fellow Scrub Ben Higgins came through big time - he'd been lucky enough to snag two tickets, and not only did he insist that I took one of them, he actually donated his second ticket so Justin could also take part. He even offered me his Friday ticket, but luckily Jon Butler was able to secure one for me.
This was an incredible selfless act on Ben's part, and I can't thank him enough. He used his time productively though and spent the con gathering information for his excellent blog, which you can find at www.floppingcardboard.com.
I also want to send out a thank you to Benoit Devost , who made a similar offer when he heard I'd missed out on a ticket. The L5R community continues to be the very best around.
To both Ben's (and Benoit Toulouse for bringing excellent Quebec beer!) and everyone else who made this such an incredible experience...my eternal gratitude. Domo arigato.

Finishing off their first season of podcasting, Jack and Mike join Steve as he battles man flu to discuss The L5r Honored event, the Scorpion clan and the real power behind the throne!

A big thanks again to FFG Organized Play , Alex Watkins , Patriot Games and Dark-Sphere London for running the fantastic #L5RHonored event in London.

Excellent as always.

Regarding Sinister Soshi... in the few games I've had she's obviously been incredible, but I find huge value in bringing her in at +2. 3 battles worth of nerfs gets a lot done and people are reluctant to assassinate or WotC her because she can't threaten anything. That and people just plain old don't Assassinate Scorpion players lololol

Steve catches up with three esteemed hatamoto guests. Scorpion Mark Armitage, Crane Devin Bell and Lion Tim Wells. They discuss their experience at the recent Worlds Event at FFG HQ, Rules, Prizes, Hot Potatoes and controversial Role selections.

Thank you as always for having us on, guys! It amazes me how Steve can take well over two hours of waffling and transform it into quality conversation. Very much hope to do it again in the future!
