Rules update 5/1 + errata.

Yep, loops exist.

Plus, I'm pretty sure any reasonable tournament wouldn't allow you to keep looping your turn to stall for time. And any reasonable opponent would refuse to play with you again.

This falls under the category "spirit of the game foul." FFG maybe should add a generic "no looping to stall for time" rule, but I don't think it's necessary. Plenty of games have this kind of thing possible, and it's up to the players to sort it out. The reason they fixed the two specific loops in this rules change was because those loops also damaged opponents (falcon/hyperspace/uprising) and generated resources (ORS/RotJ).

You're probably right though, Amanal, and they should just have a rule that if a looping effect doesn't do anything, it can't happen.

How? Second Chance doesn't have a dice.

I think he meant the two Cunnings interact with each other. The loop has nothing to do with Second Chance.

What Kieransi said.

If your goal is to create a cycle of effects which endlessly reference each other in choices, you could already do it with Cunning. Cunning resolves by picking Cunning which resolves by picking Cunning... it's really nothing new, and a double Ammo Belt would be dealt with the same as a double Cunning.

Alright, which one of you guys hacked SP's account and posted something positive under his name?

call it like it is, if its good it's good if it's bad it's bad

Overall really liking the update and the visual clarification on the queue and extra actions especially.

So thoughts on why ammo belt and second chance interaction was not addressed?

Because they hadn't played them in a mill deck.

For all those complaining, here is he link you can click on to try to make this game better instead of just complaining.

I wonder how many of you have "experience" as a playtester. It is easy to get on here and trash people's work and much harder to put in the time and work to test a game, let alone design a game. I bet the people that test this game don't intend to log on to the forums and hear people complain, I bet they don't mind some criticism of how the game state is currently, but guess what, I bet they know what is coming and how cards can have gotten out of hand so they need to be "fixed" (errata, etc).

Just relax and realize you are targeting someone you know nothing about, play a darn game (feel free to complain, it's your right) but remember sometimes calling people out with nothing to stand on (meaning what are you doing to enhance the game?) makes you look bad.

Methinks we hurt someone's feelings.

If you're going to sign up for a job, you should do a good job. Yes, even if it's hard. I do a job that's hard, I don't expect that means that everyone needs to just nod sagely and sympathetically if I screw up.

I can be upset with my plumber for doing a bad job without becoming a plumber. You can be upset at my software crashing without become an engineer. I don't have to work in a call center to think it's unacceptable that I'm stuck on hold for 20 minutes, and neither does anyone else.

The people who are playtesting signed up for the job. If they screw up, they should own it, not be posting about how unfair it is to expect them to do a good job.

like the guy said above I don't need exp to make a valid complaint, saying that I think they did a good job in fixing a problem and not waiting

Reversal

Reversal's effect is less powerful than Force Throw's special in this instance. I wouldn't say it's a game-breaking combo.
