Hi @jimmyrut

Great podcast, in particular for another new player like myself! Even better to listen to the two great players I had a pleasure to meet in real life :) It was extremely interesting to learn about your impressions after all these games in such a short time (so jealous! :)).

I find it amazing how much one can absorb and learn at early stages, when you have just started playing Star Wars Armada. I can easily tell how much you both progressed by the fact what topics you and Todd were discussing. In particular, when comparing that to our conversation in your Episode 7.

There were a lot of interesting points in the podcast but I am going to mention two that were in particular intriguing:

1. A comparison between total number of hull points and shields for each fleet - very interesting to see such a massive difference.

2. The fact that a smaller number of squadrons can still comfortably decimate (see what I did here :)) the enemy that outnumbers them 2:1.

Thanks a lot for taking time to record another podcast!

Cheers!

Thanks @SwordOfHoeth for the kind comments, I really appreciate them.

The comparison is an interesting one that I plan on bringing up again in the future, whilst it certainly isn't a direct link to how the battle is going to play out, it certainly does at this stage and in that battle in particular represent how much of an uphill battle Todd had simply to get through those hit points.

Indeed the squadrons did perform, but my fleet and some upgrades were geared heavily to support them only, and I honestly don't think Decimators in the same role would have performed much differently but it is something I'll have to continually re-visit.

I thank you for the comments once again!
