Yes.

I keep looking at your list and I am confused. What order do I attack your ships?

Kill the Liberty first as its scariest? But I cant go near it till Home One dies!
So kill Home One? That bugger aint dying!
So the Phoenix? Yeah sure, like thats going near the fight!

The answer is of course whatever order I bring them to you in!

Tonight BiggsIRL will be you waiter. We shall start with your shark fin soup, followed by plodding pickle pie and if your still hungry after that burning bird pudding

While you guys discuss this, I'm trying to think on how I can get past turn 3 against a double APT-XI7-Intel Officer MC30 with double slicer tools and a CR90 + a Mothma GR75 with comms net that will shred through my raiders and ISD1 before I get close to do serious damage

To quote A cross-universe Admiral who was still an opponent of Mr. Hamill's Character:

"When you have a Junkyard dog snapping at your heels, the best thing to do is turn around and kick it in the chops... "

Ey, Dras, don't give my opponent such advise! Now, you have ruined my tactics! ;)

For anyone interested:

Can we keep this thread for serious postings? Like schedules and results?

Feel free to post whatever you like in the main thread tho.

8-3 207 mov for skycake

just resumed and finished today... was a hard fought match for sure! he chose first and selected most wanted which was not good for me. using squads to delay deployments i got a fairly good picture of where his ships were and what they were up to. i had to deploy in a way that would guarantee a dead yvaris on my side, but with that much firepower coming across the table i knew i was going to lose something... turning point in the game was when i got a good fork off on turn two with my admo against cracken flotilla and trc90 objective ship, with his admo activating last setting up double arc on my admo.. fortunately for me his rolls on turn 3 with first activation admo went piss poor, and my admo was able to remove cracken along with the objective trc90 at the same time... yvaris died next, and then for some reason i activated the wrong ship missing a clear kill on another trc90... it took toryn and slow as f freighters the rest of the game to chase down that corvette, but we bagged it finally, along with foresight which had little choice but to move into my admo late turn 5...

all in all a fun game and a great opponent, hope to play him again

cheers

The six hour time difference made round one a challenge to organize, but Doobleg vs NebulonB is set for Thursday May 11th at 0630 GMT. :D

13: @Hystarr VS @Paindemic7708
This is scheduled for tomorrow night around 8.30pm EDT.

Hystarr VS Paindemic7708.

We played my Fleet Ambush and I feel like I am the one that got ambushed. On Turn one Foresight moved out of the ambush box and plinked away some shields on my Interdictor and my Corrupter. In my infinite wisdom I next activate my Interdictor and move it ever so closely along the board edge...just a tad tooo much as she just nipped off the edge and I lost my flagship (last time we let Motti go on shore leave to the bar). After that it was sharks in the water for me as I tried to just make it as small of a loss as I could. But after flying 139 points off the board not a lot you can do. Sabre squadron was next to fall from a flurry of AA from Admonition, Jaina's Light, another CR 90A, and finally finished off by Shara Bey. Major Rhymer drew 1st blood for me by destroying Tycho. Then comes turn 3 where the torpedo frigate Admonition had Corruptor double arced at range 1. After crushing it like an eggshell it flies off into the ether of space. After losing this other 121 points the game ended for a crushing win for Paindemic 400-16 with a MOV of 384. 10-1 Paindemic

itzSteve vs. Villakarvarousku is complete!

itzSteve: 53 - 149 Villakarvarousku for a 7-4 MOV:96 to Villakarvarousku

We played his Navigational Hazards.

The obstacles were scattered around the setup area ready to be moved, and the station was placed towards the bottom left. We both deployed fairly wide with both of his Torpedo frigates deployed on the left side and his Liberty flanking on the right. I deployed my Liberty outside of both MC30's and put my Admo across from his Liberty. We both came out at speed 2 except for my Liberty, which jumped out at speed 3 + ET to try and get a early kill on one of his flotillas. A CF command plus 5 more reds still left one hull on the flotilla and it was just outside of ramming range to finish it off. It headed off towards the station to heal, but my flotilla was there waiting for it and rammed it for the last hull damage while still remaining on the station. After that, we both closed in on each other with both MC30's (Lando and Admo) trying to turn quickly to get into position on my Liberty. My Admo crossed in front of his Liberty on turn 1, and then did a hard right turn using a nav command at speed 3 + a nav token to pull a 2-2-2 manuver to go after the Liberties side arcs. This turned out to be the big mistake on my part. His Liberty turned hard right and wound up with a juicy black range front double arc on both my Bright Hope and Admo. My Liberty on the other hand, was sitting in a black range double arc from Lando, with Admo right behind it. I had nothing but bad choices to make. Move the Liberty which had a front arc shot on his second flotilla and a side arc shot on Lando, or move one of either Admo or Bright Hope. If I activate Bright Hope, I could move out of the front arc and then use slicer tools on his Liberty, or activate Admo which had a black range side arc on his Liberty front arc. I chose to activate my Liberty. I put a couple of damage on the flotilla, and he used Lando to tank most of the damage from my side arc into his low shield front arc. This is where the game turned. He one shotted Bright Hope, getting just enough to kill it. The second shot on Admo produced a total of 9 damage (reds - hit/hit, crit, hit/hit...blues - Acc, hit, hit, hit). With SW-7 and XI7 on the Liberty I could only Admo one of the double hits down to 7 damage, redirect one to the side shield. Two damage to the rear shield, and 4 to the hull. That's a dead Admo ladies and gents. The rest of the game turned into my Liberty running with two MC30's chasing from behind and his Liberty coming in from the front. We both put some damage on each other from both Libs, but neither came close to death. Winning the squadron fight was my only consolation from the game. A very well played game from Villakarvarousku.

The casualties in the game:

Villakarvarousku : GR75, Shara Bey, Tycho Celchu

itzSteve: Admonition, Bright Hope, 2 x A-wings

Overall, Villakarvarousku was a great guy. We both flew our Madine fleets well, avoiding the moving obstacles all game. The one time he overlapped one, he had chart officer on board to keep me from scoring a victory token. Well done!
