"Could this possibly get any worse?" It did.

The bane of my existence with this list are the people who don't give up or are not demoralized after I blow up their Bossk/Dengar/Asajj/defender/miranda/etc. on the first turn of shooting. Filthy try hards! I need more people in X-wing with no willpower.

What happened to the Firespray list? I knew it did well in the first day, but then no one talked about it.

Any other interesting lists that did better than expected? I like to hear about the odd stuff.

Hi, Im Julian Rincon Alcantara from Mexico, or the Dual Firespray guy. Thanks for your great community and event, and all your positive comments.

I went 5-2 on the first day losing on the sixth and seventh game versus Nand Turf (2nd place) and Gerry Russell (Top 4th) both of them great players which outsmarted me very quickly with their Rebels lists. The second day played versus Steffen Kaehler (Ranked 24th) which I had already played on the fifth round of the first day, sadly for me he got his deserved revenge. Sorry for not remembering the name of my last game opponent (we got rearranged last minute).

I think the main advantage in my build were all the dice modification, the bags of tricks and the surprise factor of flying a rogue (non meta) list. However the gaming level of this competition was really high and I lost to more experienced players. I hope to see you on the following events! Maybe flying again with my Inglorius Firesprays if the meta allow it.

Jan Ors? AW yeah!!!

Would love to know what the rest of your list was.

I like the knights of ren title allot. Also why would you go back to the title? Did Twin ions feel wasted?

Also Hat's off to Phil booth, making brobots still a respectable list.

Brobots have a place again post FAQ and are still very dangerous in the right hands (obviously).

i thought I would see a lot more stress hogs at worlds and was worried about my defenders getting locked down with stress and never taking actions while keeping guns on. I faced Asajj once (Nick Belle top 4) and he was pulling stress off with latts anyway, and I faced a Stressbot once (Derek from evergreen running a clever Miranda Biggs Stressbot variant). So the twin ions were way underutilized and those two points would be been better spent on shuttle title.

You are my hero from Worlds this year! Good job.

Definitely missed a trick by not registering his username as DualFiresprayGuy

So, I know one list that is missing, but because my last round was a re-pair, I didn't catch my opponent's name. :( Does anyone recognize this list and know the player's name?

List was:
[44] Poe Dameron (PS 9) - Push the Limit, R5-P9, Pattern Analyzer, Black One, Autothrusters

[39] Norra Wexley - Push the Limit, R2-D2, C-3PO, Alliance Overall

[16] Captain Rex - Sabine's Masterpiece, Inspiring Recruit

Total: [99]

Is there anything you would change now with your list? Maybe free up some points and put tlt on Miranda?

Thanks man. I'll try it again for sure.

Added 4 additional lists that I knew. I hope we can fill this in: I'd really like to see a breakdown of the top 32 (and all of day 2).

Agreed, I'd love to know the Top 32 breakdown! Kyle Lehmbecker and Jack Mooney's lists are known (Old Fennaroo and Triple Scouts respectively) but I don't have the exact details. If anybody knows the lists for the other four guys please add them in.

I honestly expected far more TLTs and stressbots.

Aces and defenders were not expected to make a big appearance, stressbot would have been a little less effective IMO.

In a meta full of Fen and Teroch, that range 1 doughnut become much more of a problem. Since we're talking about the best players, it think most people figured out that they would be able to get to range 1 quite reliably.

Would you mind entering your list details on the List Juggler entry? I don't know who you are by name. :)

He should be Keith Graves.

Added.

I know we know Jack Mooney (triple scouts) and Kyle Lehmbecker's (Old Fenaroo) archetypes, but does anyone know the exact loadouts? Anyone play these guys?

Did a quick run through Han shopped first and found that Justin's winning list would only run a new player $129.80 (plus a core set for maneuver templates?).

Nand's list is $234.65 at least partly because of R4-D6 from the Transport. Still pretty amazing how cheap this game is for a miniatures game.

MJ, you doing a 2017 Store Champ Results?

I remember...In the old days we didn't have these fancy computer bots reporting lists for us... my ctrl, C, and V keys never worked quite the same after tournament season...

thanks again MJ!

Anyone know what lists Victor Yang and Kyle Adams were running? They are the only two left that went at least 7-2 that we don't have lists for.

I think Victor Yang was streamed on the Gold Squadron Podcast. I think he was flying two scouts and Fenn Rau, but I don't remember the exact details.

I can't speak for Keith, but I've been playing his list exactly as-is since he won the Vegas regional. The Autoblaster can be a very effective meta call here, as with Miranda's ability combined with Jan, you can rustle up a 4 dice autoblaster with focus + TL. I've one-shotted multiple Protectorates (Both Fenn and Teroch) with this. The only thing the list is really missing is a bomb, but there's just no real way to squeeze one in without compromising something that is basically essential to the workings of the list. I suppose you could drop down to Adaptability over the VIs if you're not seeing much PS 9 where you play, but I'd consider it very risky.
